Rave for the new aetherspace combat thing. I'm sure they'll be fun in the future when we actually have time to prepare and know what to expect.
Rave for Magnagora ragtagging ourselves a flare!

Great conclusion to the event and the new aether-conflict seems interesting. Thanks!

I flew the ship out to Xion after over 30 hours straight of not sleeping and didn't blow anything up!
But I was never playing for when colossi and what not existed before. I have NO idea what just happened, besides ship blow up thing.

Professor Ileein Shevat, Execumatrix Magnificus says, "Code: Sigura-pharx Eight
Three Two Five Nine."
Emanating from the logic crystal, a clear emotionless voice says, "Confirmation
code accepted. Restoring Domotheon Spires to functionality."
Flashes of light whistle through the air as the surface of the Logic Crystal
begins to shimmer.
Deep within the crystal's a light is emitted, revealing an image that plays out
all about you - far away, in a distant place: a circle of gumdrops, rising up
from a mountain of brown sugar, its peak breaking apart to reveal a level summit.
With a shimmer the vision fades, then depicting the eerie and broken graveyard
of Bottledowns, and a distant hill, whereupon a twisted ring of metal is slowly
emerging from the ground, encircling a clanking gnomish machine.
Sparkling motes of energy swirl about, and the vision shifts - now the swamps of
Cankermore, where the muck bubbles and froths as a ring of stone rises up slowly
from the mire, expirant plantlife littering its surface.
Elsewhere, as the crystal's view shifts to display, the shores of Mucklemarsh
Lake, where a lighthouse topples as the ground shudders - its shoddy
craftsmanship easily crumbling as a ring of broken stone rises up from the earth
around where it had been - leaving only a clanking machine in its place.
The images about you granulates and swirls, turning into a sandstorm - it
quickly calms, revealing a ring of sharp black stones piercing up from the sandy
sea beneath which they have long been hidden.
Gears and cogs obscure the vision for a moment, clanking obnoxiously all around
you before the vision pulls away, revealing the clanking machine to be in the
centre of a rising ring of gnomish clockwork parts - far too advanced, even for
the Facility in which it appears to lie.
Lastly, the image shifts, and you find yourself staring at an image of yourself
staring back at you. It blinks as you blink, and then the image shifts downwards,
lower into Xion. A field drops, revealing the way to a crystal ring that
glimmers and gleams with raw, elemental power.
This, combined with our silent huddling and reading the Book of Bollikin in a post office (and the heartache as a result) just made all this event so worth it.
Edit: And getting -Xion-! I felt useful for a change since I was the only one with any idea knowing what was going on!

My god, the history part felt -amazing-. Knowing you've discovered something that new and that bittersweet, you get this adrenaline rush of ohmygodthisgameisfantastic. And as the power is being drained and everyone is giving up, your team has discovered the key to ending all this madness--! Man, I wish I had been more useful, I felt as if I was riding the coat tails of more experienced people. But my god it was fun.

It was sooo saaad . At first we were all, omigosh omigosh new thing new thing new thing!! Hallifax's end-of-the-world-quest-team all excited to have made a discovery (after help from Indiau, ahem ahem)... and then it just got dead silent in the room. History and lore is one of my favorite parts of Lusternia, especially when it has to do with things my character is interested in (in this case, Manteekan's icebourne; it was kind of cool that I guessed he was their "Creator" they talked about the moment they mentioned having one! I was right!! ) All the Frosticia stuff was already awesome for her, but having it be connected to Manteekan is even better, since Phoebus has a slight obsession with finding any information she can on Jadice, who just so happened to be close with Manteekan. Basically, it's cool! Even though I've...been awake for a very, very long time now, I am glad I didn't sleep. I liked being out on Xion bombarding and going but but but can't we get Frosticia? Please? This is so far away we'll never get back in time oh noo! My near nervous breakdown at being made to pilot all the way to Xion for the first time in this state was real though. o_o

Yeah because competing with two other orgs is a great idea.

Hooray for winning 90 credits in the Iron Lottery on my birthday! I only had five or six tickets entered, too.
And, my birthday is apparently the same day as Tully's! (I'm four years younger, but we're still older than 95% of the population here. Heh.)

Me neither!
I stayed away from this event due to the fact that I'm home for the holidays and I don't want to spend all of the time on the computer. That, and this event... it wasn't the best. It wasn't horrible, but... it left something to be desired.
On the bright side, Lusternia is back to normal! Now give me my gnomes! >:C
