New players have it so easy when it comes to leveling. They don't know the meaning of hard work.
Not going to deny this, but not everyone influences or aetherhunts. I personally have 12 influences under my belt and zero aetherhunts, and will turn 90 sometime this week. Would be tomorrow, but I have an essay to write....
Should also trans tailoring around that same time I level up.

oh. I admit, I have five none-newbie achievements >_> but it's not that bad!
Vermin Control Expert & Bright Soul were for the xp bonus.
Amateur, Journeyman, and Master Hunter all came from natural causes though.
Edited: because I accidentally posted before finishing.

Long revolt is long.
I'm really glad my 9am class was cancelled. So I can waste my life on fake game resources.

Village feelings are working really great.

Still waiting on Hallifax to do more than send strongly-worded letters of complaints.
Also coming closer to making a Winning Org Momentum thread that will inevitably get locked.

What is the point of village feelings? It gives one org such a boost that one wonders why other orgs even try to play the catch up game for hours.

Getting ISSUED because someone thought I was the one closing the door repeatedly during the revolt when I was actually trying to open it to get out.

Unfortunately I wasn't present, so I can't really tell how well it did (or didn't) play out. I can't imagine Glomdoring's positive feelings were particularly high, though, as they also had dairuchi for the duration of Talthos?

Chastened, I think.

It was only level 1 feelings and we had a good start. Later on, we only managed to win by securing a lot of minor denizens. We only took 1, 2 max named denizens at the end.

People confuse me. They make it sound like village feelings did all the work in that revolt.
Ayden2010-10-26 08:16:46
The little man that changes the levels of feelings did all the work. You guys did nothing.
In other news, I'm so tempted to forget Tarot and go Hexes!

They're conquest. They passively accrue feelings in villages they control, and that's the only way they generate feelings in villages they control.

They sure did a lot of it. We had most of the named denizens and many of the smaller ones for the several hours I was there (though I missed the beginning.)

Level one feelings is a pretty minor benefit, all things considered.
A trill villager is about half the value of, say, Zaebron. The benefit from lvl 1 feelings doesn't make up the difference. Not even half of it.

*sigh* I wish this village hadn't even been implemented.
