I've been getting reports about this thread. Keep it civil.

I know, but I can still be sad about it. I just can't do any other class, especially monks and warriors.
Warriors are probably harder to set up a kill, with people with smart stancing/parrying. It certainly won't happen with damage! Combine with randomness of swing :<

Warriors can just walk in swinging, I have to take about a minute or so to flood, meld, and put effects up. Yes I have flashflood, but I still have to put up Sweetfount, so I'm going in with one power available to me. And I would still have to meld the room my target is in, and during that time they can just start attacking me or just walk out.

A certain wyrdo Champion needs to get more hobbies than kick-the-loyal.

I did have aethersight on until the previous two deaths, which were fair (inasmuch as anything that involves ascendant fear can be called fair), but then I got summoned to death before I could even recover equilibrium from renouncing grace at my nexus, so I couldn't've put up aethersight or indeed anything. I'm sure they can look it up, but I'm sure nothing will come of this.
While the rest of it has been discussed pretty in depth I think, I'm pretty sure Aethersight lasts through death. If you had had it up prior to dying it would have triggered if someone was summoning you this time as well. So that's something else to add to the picture.
Might it be possible that your system has something that causes it to walk / move, that fired just before the renounce went through? I know old Palisade liked to do that some times.

Technically, psionics is decent enough so that you don't necessarily -have to- set a meld beforehand.

This is not a logical thread, shh.

I have neither the survivability or skill at this time to do so.

Great. I spent -hours- on feeding Teaka with assorted eggs, finally hatching my golden chocobo ebon wakabi, and now someone kills it while I'm waiting for the cobras to respawn to feed it to grow nice and healthy and not-deady. I'm assuming that it doesn't repawn back, does it?
Whoever did that... thank you so much.

I've a suspect. There's for certain someone around who doesn't want you to get the hand. They're doing the mirror quest to hamper you as well.

Putting guards and statues tuned against everyone but one org at the entrance to a distorted village is retarded on -multiple- levels. Please hotfix this mechanic so people can stop having villages be newbietraps.

It's such a pity that the current state of the game makes RPing animosity between different guilds or different orders within the same city or commune impractical.

It's only been recently that animosity between certain guilds I know of has lessened. I doubt it would take much for it to come back... I think it's a fun angle to play sometimes.
I was considering making Aramel's semi-dislike of Lisaera's order a characterization point.
Considering she's the High Priestess of the Moon, it'd be... interesting. But ultimately, for that reason, impractical, especially considering Maylea and Lisaera are chums.

I was a High Priest who had a great dislike for Lisaera herself, but it never really came up.
