I hate it when the mapper mistakes where I am and I walk into PoS.

Hate these raids at 3 am. Because either I have a meld up, but I'm tired as hell, don't have a meld up, not tired, but jittery as for some reason. I can only do good when I'm not being focused and I can think straight. 3 am is not a thinking straight time. And blame shrine placement on the people who can put them up.

Jitters are fixed with practice. Go out and spar/grief/kill more!

Nothing says you can't go to bed or at least log off for a bit. I've done that during revolts/raids if I'm too tired/sick to deal with them. (and rarely gotten flak as usually I explain to the nice scary lady or man in the corner that I wouldn't have been much good anyway)



I'm willing to admit, y'know those messages you get on Nexus while it's loading, and one was like, "Our in-depth combat system will make your hands shake"? There are times during raids when my entire body is shaking afterwards. So much adrenaline. (And this is also why I fail at FPS) But yes, more griefing!

A raid at any other time I can do, just not at 3 am in the morning.


I can do semi-well in a spar, or raid in which I'm not the one being focused, but this was at a time where I'm cold and a bit tired.


I don't have the powers to do so. Not being in any Orders or having Protector status.

A raid in which I'm not tired or jittery I'm semi okay with. I can handle those raids most times, but being jittery and tired I can't focus, I panic, and I mess up. Especially when coordination is lost. If it'd been Aeral, Lorina, and I, I could have done slightly better, because we've taken the time to work out a good strategy, but it was only Lorina present, along with Ridley, but Ridley isn't involved in our strategy. I'm not asleep at 3, because I'm an insomniac. I tend to sleep during the day, or early morning.

Oh... sorry, must have been some dimensional instability going on at night, the aetheric message got to me IRL instead of the Ninjakari.

Then tell somebody who does that they need to move it!

And seriously, if you're tired or not feeling well, just don't bother.

I hate the raid time more-so than the raid. I'd been bored for a while at the time. The raid gave me something to do. And I'm not an experienced combatant, so I don't know what are all the necessary defenses to put up and such, so I can't just go and say "This needs to be this, and that needs to become that." Some day possibly, just not today.

I would like to say Hallifax does not commission mercenaries, but that would be horribly ironic.
