One thing the Gnafia event has left me asking:
What was the point of Verse 4? The one that told everyone to find the Hand?
Can't complain since I just so happened to be going for my orgbix at the time, anyways, but we never did find that 'final key'.

Much to my infinite annoyance, according to the events post that one was supplied by someone who either a. doesn't understand roman numerals or b. was messing with us.

It was the last verse from last year's set that caused chaos for everyone at the end. All of the verses from previous years still exist wherever they were found.
(Unless you mean the bit about 'Hidden Hands' - it's a reference to the Gnafia. Secret criminal organization, King of the Hidden Hands meaning the Gnodfather.)
As, this year started with CMLXXXVI, which referenced 'hidden hands' being behind the weather and villages being steeped in fear.

It's kinda funny how because of aetherspace we have more demis than mortals on QW now.

I might have died quite a bit, but I killed several people so I'm okay. Hate we lost two villages though. Next time hopefully it's an even fight.

It's like impossible to live in Eastern Standard Time and be awake for anything in this game.
Unless you're Phoebus or Sylandra or Ileein. I'm beginning to think maybe I'm the weirdo for having a sane sleep schedule.

It is if you don't have a day job. I think it's easier to be part of events if you're in Europe or Asia than East Coast with a day job, really. If I were four hours earlier I'd catch the tail end of things, and if I were four hours later I'd catch the beginning, but the active stuff coincides pretty much perfectly with my seven hours of sleep.

I've an 8 to 5 job, Eastern time, and I seem to manage it okay most of the time. Sometimes it's a bit of a stretch though, I will admit.

Remember when Aussies and Asians hated how they never got to be a part of events?

They STILL don't. Events are way early in the morning for them. We've positioned the events in a place where only pacific micronesians are allowed to participate

You're about twelve hours off, in my experience: events tend to be in the early afternoon (or around 11am) for us, which means I generally have classes or other stuff to do.
Lendren2010-12-25 16:47:58
It's not an either-or: the closer your bedtime comes to around 10pmEST or later, the worse off you are, but as schedules shift from that you get to where you can be maybe in part of some events, to likely in a lot of many events, to almost certainly in almost all events, to (PST with late nights) always in all events, to nope, never, not even once in the finale of any event, ever, as you cross the International Event Date Line here in EST-with-a-day-job-land.

You forget one thing: no one likes any of you. That is why the rest of the world banished you by the edge of the Earth, so you have the best chance of falling off.
Especially Rika.

Nonsense. EST is the only real time zone; all of the rest are just impostors.
