It's not an either-or: the closer your bedtime comes to around 10pmEST or later, the worse off you are, but as schedules shift from that you get to where you can be maybe in part of some events, to likely in a lot of many events, to almost certainly in almost all events, to (PST with late nights) always in all events, to nope, never, not even once in the finale of any event, ever, as you cross the International Event Date Line here in EST-with-a-day-job-land.
I'm in the same state as you, I've an 8-to-5 job (which often drifts to 5:30 or later)... so I do have to dispute this. Usually they can finish with enough time to go to bed and get some sleep or they happen on a Friday / Saturday where time is more flexible.
If you have to work on the weekends, though, it's harder.
They are usually pretty understanding about us EST folks though.

I think I live somewhere around Russia atm, and stuff keeps happening before I wake up.
Elostian2010-12-25 18:29:21
Nonsense, I work 50+ hours a week and I always manage to be around for the events that are important to me...
Then again, maybe that's because the only events that are important to me are the ones that I run.

I live in Asia, and the only reason I even get to see these mini-bubble events was because I keep (or rather, NOT keep) a crazy sleep schedule, and I log in to Lusternia when I should be studying instead.

Nonsense. EST is the only real time zone; all of the rest are just impostors.
Well of course. Why do you think it's called eastern STANDARD time. And of course, since it happens earlier then PACIFIC standard time, it must have come first.
Daraius2010-12-25 22:14:08
Daraius vs. Pecan Pie, round two, tonight at 6:00 EST. This time I will not be logged in to Lusternia.
Unknown2010-12-25 22:19:32
Pecan pie? Eww...

It's like impossible to live in Eastern Standard Time and be awake for anything in this game.
Unless you're Phoebus or Sylandra or Ileein. I'm beginning to think maybe I'm the weirdo for having a sane sleep schedule.

It's not my fault the sun doesn't conform to my schedule.
But seriously I need to stop, I can't have afternoon and evening classes forever. Turning into an insomniac here.

Nobody on the east coast sleeps. Don't worry.

Spent 20 minutes looking for a jar of wax, only for the correct combination to change.
Llesvelt2010-12-26 04:12:07
You guys sleep?

You can do it too. Then we can run off to Gaudiguch and get married.

You won't believe how desperately I am searching for a beckon emote right now.

I like how Gaudiguch owns the two most thematically-appropriate villages in the Basin.

Even in Lusternia, giftwrapping is a huge pain in the ass. GUESS WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING THE PAST HOUR OF MY LIFE.

Why is Shanthmark thematically-appropriate?
