Back to Common Grounds.

Aslaran culture in general has a less-noticeable motif of freedom and meditation than the dracnari do. Consider the aslaran farms run by Crazen-worshipping krokani (and their desire to be freed from their confinement to 'roam the plains' as it were, like Feyahi/Kryden Valik) and Shanth's own 'quiet mind' shtick.

The Shanthmark quest even has you bringing 'harmony of mind to the Shanthmark Lodge'.

I actually had an idea of having a 'cultural fieldtrip' to bring the younger members to Dairuchi, Shanthmark, Tosha (and wherever the main 'hub' of monk Harmony is) to see how even within the Gnosis Path, there are many different ways of achieving Enlightenment. It's been stuck in the planning stage for forever though, even before I tried running for Mayor (and now Governor! smile.gif )

Edit: The next most appropriate village for Gaudiguch would be either Estelbar or Acknor. Estelbar because we would then be freeing furrikin slaves from the orc village, and Acknor because we can then 'teach' them to stop oppressing others and liberate the furrikin slaves.

Bugger off, Estelbar is ours sad.gif
Lendren2010-12-26 14:51:03
At least until Ackleberry comes back.
Shiri2010-12-26 15:02:56
We had it longer! They can share though.

With the massive influx of commodities into the Basin, courtesy of gnomes, I'm hoping we see a lot more sorcelglass vials on the market. Right now the Aetherplex is empty. I even sent someone into Nariah's shop (my lack of access to it is the one thing making me regret being a Magnagora enemy!) to find her out of stock. sad.gif

I will shower someone with copious amounts of gold, trinkets and adoration if they can produce similar, stunningly beautiful vials. Seriously. I want my entire inventory to be a sorcelglass display of awesome. sad.gif

I doubt that that influx increases stocks more than the ongoing, massive shortage of commodity production in the villages decreases it, even just right now. Most likely, even with the influx added, we're still running lower, not higher, than usual. Even if it were, the villages will take a long time to get production back up, but this influx won't last.

Maybe, just maybe, if the stupid things didn't get bumped up to require 8 commodities extra to buff the vial, along with the scroll to hold just a few charges.

I still really hate those commodity cost increases.

I don't need an excuse. I bother her whenever I please. happy.gif

Sometimes I forget that we can't breed beasts here. I want pokemons!
Shulamit2010-12-26 22:14:11
Wait, more vial designs? It seems I shouldn't have been sleeping all day cause of the snow, I should have been designing more vials! And here I was, thinking I already designed too much sorcelglass, and people wanted regular book designs. Silly me, hehe.

You will now be known as Artiwhore Rika Talnara, of the Wistful Rhythm, by order of Asmodea Kamau, Lady of the Bitter Frost.

Just a quick note to those of consequence. Things are steadily coming into fruition for me, and all going well, I will be back playing on the week containing the twentieth day of the first month of the following year.

Talk to Sylphas about it. It's not terrible if you get the timing right.

Are you kidding? It is so simple, I can do the whole thing in, start to finish in about an hour. Heck, I still do it all the time because of the power that blessing the font generates.
