I'm not actually sure if you CAN whistle to Xion. It looked fine on my end, but several minutes later, still no Laurelin.

Can't whistle beasts across planes. You have to dismiss then summon them.

#1 thing I hate today: Researcher Diamond shields.

It was more, one thing out of order so waiting for a reset while worrying about a different reset, which comes to how the generators lead you through as long as you start in the right place unlike this.

That and sitting around doing nothing, looks like I started on the first day of waxing gibbous so eventually I was just sitting there checking date and time constantly.

Check the full moon dates. It's in a chelp. Bless the font during waxing gibbous, then just chill until full. The time crunch isn't nearly as bad as it seems the first time. If you want less downtime, you can prep some of the Aspects and the Tosha quest, then do it all an hour before full, to give the seeds time to repop.

The only real crap with the whole quest is that the lily is on a two minute decay timer, and a 45 minute respawn timer. So don't screw around with that.

Pretty sure Elostian disconnected in the middle of a conversation. There's really no way of knowing if you're just talking to thin air.

You should have a friend standing by at all times to mess with your connection. That way, you'd randomly d/c in the midst of philosophical conversations with no warning all the time, increasing your sense of mysteriousness!

Don't worry, it happens to me at least once a week, invariably when I'm trying to do something important or have a serious conversation. Never when I'm just standing around working on something in notepad that doesn't require a connection.

Getting chaindragged in to a Fillin-meld full of monks, mages, and a nihilist hurts a bunch.

Also, fire hot, water wet.

Oh how I hate coming across useful tools that I can't properly make use of at this time. But soon, soon I'll be able to. (hopefully)

It is quite frustrating when I am met with an opponent who I absolutely cannot build vessels on, no matter how much I try my little heart out. I should not be seeing zero burst vessels on somebody five minutes into a fight! What is this magic curing?
