I never realized until just now how much I play this game solo. The one time I actively try and get an aetherhunt together it's like pulling goddamn teeth and never happens. Getting together rituals is a pain in the ass. Getting together aetherhunts is a pain in the ass. Putting together a standard hunt with a bunch of people is kind of pointless, because at some point you can just aetherhunt instead, and if not, astral is about the only thing worth doing as a big group.

Some days I think I just picked the wrong org on day one and fell into all the wrong cliques and that I'm going to be screwed for another bunch of years unless I totally upend Sylphas and his RP and history.

Try an alt first, see if you like it enough to do the upending.

Alternatively, play with someone else who is able to get you involved and doing things. This is my option, it tends to work pretty well!

Or bring a sheep into the Havens and abandon it there. Honestly Xenthos, what were you thinking?

I don't think I'd be happy upending things and moving, either. I picked Serenwilde for a reason, and all of those reasons still hold, beside the player atmosphere. I mean, I'd probably love Glomdoring's people, but I hate/dislike the actual forest and the skills and the history and the gods. And it would be going counter to everything Sylphas has worked for in his life.

Playing with someone who is able to get my into things, well, easier said then done.

I can't find anyone to spar, so I'm left to look over old combat logs.

I think it happens. Sometimes I regret being part of Celest/Aquamancers but other times I am proud to be a part of it. Totally understand the feeling. Lorina can't ever leave! Good thing I have a few alts and take breaks...

I'd like to, but the environment isn't really conducive to having much fun there. I do need to get this play put on sometime though, the Shofangi deserve as much effort as I can muster.

Haha, a part of it's also because of my apathetic attitude. The aetherhunt today was fun, and also the first time people responded to my invitation to hunt on astral! (well, I've gone with lowbies but they always die...) So I hope this continues.

I still wonder what the issue with Serenwilde is. Maybe I've just seen it so much that I can just ignore it completely, but I don't really feel there's much of a problem.
