I really should just org-hop instead of what the Operation currently is.
I have the itch, man.

Don't leave me, Casi. Without you I'm the craziest person in Hallifax.

Well there's your problem. Listen, this is all there is to it.
1. Join Hallifax.
2. Join Shevats.
3. ?
4. Profit!
Razenth2011-01-04 06:01:36
You don't want to join Illuminati. I don't think you'd like it there.

I'm trying to place my finger on what's wrong with Seren. The problem seems like a lack of Nejii, or a Nejii-like character-- the RP-leader-type. We've got a few combatant-leader-types, but no real 'spiritual' leader (in the Nariah/Talan/Nejii sense) to lead the masses that has a feel for what Seren RP used to be/should be (First Forest/Last Forest/who are we/What does it mean type of leader). In the Mass Exodus, that's the piece that was the last to leave... and also the hardest to get back. It's not the combatant-health of Seren that's faltering right now (We did better than any of us expected in that seven-on-twenty a few days back), it's the roleplaying base.

Gaudi feels weird Casi. Like a brittle shell with nothing inside. Maybe it's because I'm not politically and socially active within my guild/city, but it feels like the blind leading the blind.

What do you know? I won't stand out, then.

I will join your cult if you call it Blue Oyster. The name fits Celest and we can tell people to not fear the reaper when Malarious is advertising on market.

Uhhhh, ummm.
But I like my cult name. It is pretty.
On another cult note...Naralis.
My little mass offerer. He keeps my cult alive!
You can join tooo!

Aww. That's kind of a shame, but at the same time it's nice to hear what I was adding when I was active there.

I don't think I'd be happy upending things and moving, either. I picked Serenwilde for a reason, and all of those reasons still hold, beside the player atmosphere. I mean, I'd probably love Glomdoring's people, but I hate/dislike the actual forest and the skills and the history and the gods. And it would be going counter to everything Sylphas has worked for in his life.
Playing with someone who is able to get my into things, well, easier said then done.

Look at Siam.
edit:
I mean the Org's reputation and history didn't kind of suit him, given his silly reputation, but Alacardael's proddings got to him(me) in the end. It was kind of awkward at first, but I made it out just fine after a few months.
edit:
Okay, freaky lag spikes. GO AWAY, PLEASE.

Alacardael was a lovey-dovey Spiritsinger who was gathering pilgrims and bards one day and stumbled into Glomdoring. What, I liked purple.

There are nice people living in Glomdoring, I'm sure. They just don't visit or write or anything.

They're all over the place. The bitter-shift doesn't exactly help one get to know them, though; everything is perceived as a direct, personal affront and makes the individual be received as if they were Evil Incarnate. It's quite unfortunate, but we do appreciate them ourselves so it all works out.
It's really beginning to look a lot like you should consider some kind of Change. Alianna and Lendren have both done pretty well with their alting to get a different game feel and actually be less bitter (at least on the forums); a game is supposed to be fun after all, and all I get from your posts is that you are developing an ulcer. Take a breather, find what you enjoy in the game instead of focusing so heavily on what you hate.

Sometimes I feel like I don't know anyone well in Seren. That's my problem with it.
