If that's the case, why not just team up, let the Wiccans get it while you watch and observe.
Good scientists share!
Good scientists share!
I already did my watch and observe, the first time the quest was done. I want to do it! And yes, the plan was to give the Snowflake to a wiccan when I was done. It'd just go to waste otherwise.
Also, not a scientist.

The furries one is hypnotising and oh so confusing. Why is it doing that!

Had always thought of Arel as the... really smart leader-type of person who hangs out in secret cults and does secret things.
These things are true.

Not so much.
In a good way
I refer you back to the secret truth about Arel.

Phallic worship?
(can't find a suitable emoticon to express that )

Do they reset on Estar, or a year after you get them?
I don't know, I don't think Sondayga's has reset and there isn't any mention of a time frame in the ab. Unless I'm wrong about Sondayga's or the admin have advised otherwise, it may be possible that they don't but I'm not holding my breath on that.
QUOTE (Kiradawea @ Jan 8 2011, 04:44 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
People also want to do it for the epic-aether-honours.
Which is another issue.
Don't get me wrong, I have much <3 for the Snoefaasia and gaining abilities via quests makes things more interesting(I've even asked for similar in past ideas threads and think that it could be applied in more ways). A timer makes things frustrating though, especially with the frosticia quest due to the length of both the quest and the resets (some of which contribute to the length of the quest).
A side concern is logging in to see people bringing the Snoefaasia into discussions about balancing wiccans.
For most of this, if Snoefassia are permanent then little issue. If not, soo much frustration.

They don't seem strong enough to really have to balance around. They're only strong on Prime, outdoors, if you have Mythical LowMagic, and if you spend the 3p. The rest of the time, they're just 5 cold dmp.

The obvious solution is to continue expanding until it's gone!
Are you saying it wasn't intentional? I'd have a bit of trouble believing that! It's oh so intentional looking, especially with the little center mouth looking thing (amphora rooms).
PS. Fog of Creation x3 isn't a cool room name.

We have ascension coming up?
Xiel2011-01-07 19:41:38
Ascension takes place on astral, where there's no weather. Since the snoefaasia is weather dependent and you need pretty high LM to even get the secondary effect going, don't think that's going to be much of a balance concern.
Kiradawea2011-01-07 20:04:43
Three hours of questing ruined because someone killed the quest mob just as I deliver the last item.
Razenth2011-01-07 20:19:33
What quest?
Kiradawea2011-01-07 20:19:54
Bottledowns.
Razenth2011-01-07 20:20:43
Balls. Who would be such a dick?
Ixion2011-01-07 20:24:28
Sidd/Celina were killing questie things there a couple days ago.. wouldn't surprise me if it was them.

Okay, does it actually work? Because I will totally slaughter Bottledowns if it does count for achievements. >_>

Of course it does, they're gnomes.

You are awesome. You answer all my stupid questions.
Kiradawea2011-01-07 20:37:48
My main problem was the timing. A minute earlier, and I'd just need to wait a respawn. A minute later, and the part would be done, and I don't think I'd need him anymore. It is just typical my luck. I just hope he remembers all that was done, but he did lose all the quest items when he died...
