To be fair, this usually doesn't happen. We tend to get good hunts going. But alas, when you have people who aren't paying attention, things go wrong. I think the person who did it normally doesn't hunt with us either, so there's that to consider too.

Take your beast with you when you earn experience points to level him up. A level 2+ beast does not die, just loses a level. They're pretty easy to level up, too.

Also, trigger the midnight message to 'outr feed;beast fill feedbag with feed;inr feed'. Even if you have no beasts out, there's no worry.

Yeah, knowing who's a moron (or taking reasonable guesses) is why I don't set up my hunts on the commune aether. So much easier to weed when you use other methods.
