Is there really, really only one pufferfish? I'm getting flashbacks to Lolliprin.

Ever probe one?

Look more closely at their room enter/exit messages, and then FLY. tongue.gif

Oh magicarp. Flight? I'm screwed.

Why can't researchers get to fly!

Ileein2011-01-16 23:58:12
I know, right? They should know better than to use first names (unless there's more than one Minister Shevat present, in which case first names may be used as supplemental identification).

Congrats!

And, uh... Sorry for stealing it from you for other people...

...Twice...

The post-event function of this spyglass has me literally laughing out loud.

Kudos to whoever came up with that idea and wrote the descriptions for what was happening to the gnomes.

I'm used to it. As this event proved as well, I'm a sponge of bad luck.

Can Dramube please stop randomly malfunctioning? Moving exactly as the boulder instructs you to should not make the gnome go crazy.

The only random malfunction on it these days is the reset; the rest of it is just VERY VERY TOUCHY.

Greet the gnome 5,000 times to get all the exact instructions as to what you are and are not allowed to do. A lot of the 'don't do this' makes 0 sense, but if you obey the rules then you're good.

One of the Admin recently helped make the 'random' reset on turning in corpses a bit less random / annoying, so the quest is a whole heck of a lot less frustrating now than it was a week ago. tongue.gif

60 steps forward means 60 steps forward. I've done it many times, yet it decides to randomly either have tokens instantly decay or not pop up, or it just plain decides that no this wasn't right.
Fain2011-01-17 17:22:22
I'm fairly sure dramube still has screwy triangles. This is gnome geometry, after all.
Kiradawea2011-01-17 17:32:44
Is gnome geometry related to dwarf physics?

60 steps forward, with no turns at the end.

I just did it 11 times in a row with no errors except for one time when I put too many corpses in and the tokens all instantly decayed. The first 3 times were the screwiest because I had to re-figure out the rules and the count-until-token-reset was always wonky. Once that was fixed it all went very smoothly.

The only screwy triangle Dramube has that I've found is the one with a 3. Since it is impossible to move 3, using five tokens. (Even turn left, turn right, 1 1 1 does not do it).
Kiradawea2011-01-17 17:36:51
With no turns yes.
