Surely Terentia will find your offering a -weapon- to be thoughtful and amusing to blast you with.

You can pretty much figure out who'll win the same events, every year. It's getting old now. At the very least, change the lines and make it more challenging if you'll keep giving 2k credit artifacts to the same winners.

Better idea; get those winners TA and then they cannot compete any more!

Everyone can't win TA each year though.

If someone wins a Seal 3x, perhaps the entire game should support their Ascension just to get them out of the way.
Malicia2011-02-06 00:24:25
Yeah, I guess that would make sense as you've won it -3- times now. It just seems pointless to even try for a lot of people! You guys have a great strategy though, that's for sure. But to the admin: eesh, change it up a bit at least! There's a billion afflictions in this game. Mess those furrikin up real good.
Arath2011-02-06 00:25:42
Aren't automations breaking the rules though?

Bet you can't tell who is going to win Beauty!

Beauty nets the only surprise winner, true. Heh

Could have last year too, but I intentionally did not.

If you check your logs, you should see that there was no automated giving of anything. Everything I did only happened when I entered in the 'give' command (just like it was for almost all the rest of you).

I dunno, Chaos and Justice can be pretty surprising, too.

I'm going to open up a bookmaker for next year's Ascension. That way more people will be able to get something out of it!
Arath2011-02-06 00:31:09
If I check my logs I see you handing over the cures superhumanly fast. I find it hard to believe that you used an alias or keybinding for the individual cures.

Alias indeed.

I was so close to 5th!
This was my first time doing Life, and I didn't realize the "I have a plague" thing was a generic line, I thought they actually had something. I killed several furrikin before figuring that out.

Before we toss out accusations, let's just stick to the the main point- CHANGE and add more random lines each year and people can't really automate it (at least, not as easily). Not that Xenthos did or anything. Just saying. It's just totally dull at this point. It doesn't hurt to freshen it up and give more people the chance to win with such a juicy artifact on the line.

And the year before that. And the year before that. And the year before that.
Congrats, Xen.
