I'm allergic to dogs. I also have a lifestyle that would be pretty unfair to a dog.

When I grow up, I will keep my my unintentional family tradition of having a female shepherd and a male mutt (the intention was always to have two shepherds, as they finally do now, but reality never worked out that way). Because dogs are just awesome. Especially shepherds.

I still maintain that cats are evil. They only PRETEND to be nice to us so that they can lull us into a false sense of security before they TAKE OVER THE WORLD.

Plenty of non-allergenic doggies, like shih tzus, or poodles. I have two shipoodles which are a mix of both! I'm totally a dog person ^_~
