Sior's done a lot of profiling on the server, and cut down MASSIVE portions of what causes lag, code-wise. Of course, 150+ people competing on Astral will cause lag problems all of its own, but c'est la vie!

Not sure what Sior did, but it worked. Lag during the Ascension event - which had far more people - was much, much reduced from the Domoth battles a few weeks ago.

Yes, it was awesome to not be lagged out. There was lag, yes, but it was also astral insanity and just general chaos too.

Glad the lag fix helped! There was an unannounced additional fix that was loaded right before the competition as well which should have sped things up.
