Make a theatrical review or something? Every time a new play comes out, type up a paragraph summarizing your opinion of it. Or write about new foods approved by Spicegulch. Or whatever cartel. Or do a village stock market dealy where you list the current village stocks in all the villages you can go to as of the writing of the article. It doesn't matter what you write, how good it is, how useful or practical is is or even if it is interesting enough to publish on its own merits. It really doesn't. We can throw whatever into a newspaper, since that's how the medium works.

I've gotten a grand total of 70000 words out of just summerizing Lusternian politics, all by myself. Let's get some other people writing too, and bask in the glorious, glorious 200 book weight per year that can and will result.

Impact of adding two elemental runes to my sword against a target with a level 1 vulnerability to said damage type:

Before: 417 damage

After: 541 damage

Wounding unchanged.


Yeah, that's totally worth 500 credits. Fix please.

417 * 1.1 == 458.7
417 * 1.2 == 500.4
417 * 1.3 == 542.1

500 credits got you a 30% boost. Compare that to magic runes... I'd say you got off lightly!

(That said, magic runes also work on NPCs)

Edit: I also can't help but feel as if you picked a target with pretty high physical resist and almost no resistance to your rune of choice, even before the racial malus.
