That's because most of our Dreamweavers are, you guessed it! Non-combatants. We actually have a fairly high amount in the Aeromancers, you just probably won't see them anywhere near a fight. suspicious.gif The majority of our novices these days pick Dreamweaving.

Actually, the only reason I know Tulemrah is a Dreamweaver was because I found her dreamweaving in Gaudiguch once. I've never actually seen anyone use Dreamweaving in combat.

Dreamweavers I can think of off the top of my head without logging in to check that aren't novices:
Tulemrah
Kanara
Irillia
Xaldrin
Xanfinro

There are more, but believe me, they are out there! They just hide. (Also, maybe because you've never seen anyone using Dreamweaving in combat, you don't notice when people are Dreamweavers? wink.gif )

Enyalida, the poor poor Dreamweaving Druid.

I have a mental image of the Dreamweavers of the Basin coming together for a dreamweavers' convention while in their dreambodies. happy.gif

Haha, I watched that movie just a few days ago, Zarquan. biggrin.gif

And yeah, I'd quite like to see all the dreamweavers together, united by their terrible, broken skillset tongue.gif

Dreamweaving shouldn't be broken any more. It went under the microscope and got laser surgery a while back.

It's not broken anymore, just lame.

Fine, go have a Dreamweaver party and forget all about me. I'll just sit here and play with my memoryloss motes and sleepmist.

That was a good time tonight. My hat off to everyone involved. smile.gif

How many were involved in the orgy?

Dreamweaving is really the best for Hartstone, easily. D:

Anyone else think that the divine RP in general is a little flawed?

Take Eventru for example, he's some big/bad leader from way back when then he pops up and essentially is now preaching the ideals of some entities WAY under him on the food chain?

I mean yes he has his own ideals but he alligns himself with a city full of tiny and mostly insignificant shards... Why? Just strikes me as a bit odd when you read the histories and then interact with the gods they mention.

I disagree, mortals are capable of doing things that the divine are not, and vice versa. There's a bit of a give and take in the relationships, mortals help the divine grow in strength and amass essence, the divine offer guidance and in a sense, protection from other gods who would interfere/meddle.

I agree. The way I've always seen it is that the big end-all-be-all creator in the traditional sense is Dynara. The Divine that the mortals interact with are powerful in their own right, but they're still themselves 'mortal' in a sense and their power is limited in ways. They rely on the mortals for many things.
Lehki2011-03-02 15:25:18
If the Elders didn't hang around with us mortals, there's usually like... maybe 5 other Elders usually around for them to socialize with, and not all of them get along very well, yeah?

Sort of related, but The Kephera Princes seem to have some interesting ideas in regards to the Elder Gods. 8D

Casilu. Bad. I'm going to lock you in Kelly's closet in her manse. Or I'll finally build some new rooms on mine and make one your containment cell. suspicious.gif

I'm not sure the Divine 'depend' on the mortals in any RP sense, rather than mechanical. They survived and thrived before shards existed, didn't they? And Meridian was around for however long it was, with mortals around, but hiding his existance.

Was it not a mortal that restores the Nine Seals to abate the Soulless? Not to mention saving Elostian, restoring Hallifax from time, etc.

You should read the Histories, they're full of examples.
