Guess the Aquas will have to expand into Halli. May start off with the Sentinel guild hall. We have more than enough gold.

Lolnothnx. We have the cool Mages in Hallifax. You can go back to your little puddles in Celest; meanwhile I'll be using the , watching your every move. suspicious.gif

Congratulations. You are now officially a barbarian.

I like the cut of your gib.

And with that I'm done for the night. Battery power on my iPod is horrendous when connected to the internet combined with no adapter and no laptop due to the stupidity of people means I can only make use of it for a bit before it dies and I need my music.

Lolnothnx. We have the Mages with a powerless skill that does what it takes you two skills and a power cost in Hallifax. You can go back to your sub-par skills in comparison to Geos and Aeros in Celest

Fixed

You should have heard the little nerdrage squeal I let out at that comment about puddles. dry.gif

Let's all move to Gaudiguch. Hahahaha.

I find bashing terribly boring and repetitive. :-(

Everyone does, but if you do it long enough you enter a sort of medative/hypnotic state.

Scrummaging logs, came upon this:

QUOTE
Vadi raises a palm in the air. Siam glows with a sparkling silver light. Wounds open up on his body.
His wounds begin to miracuously heal.

Rather terse, there...

I don't get that. sad.gif

Also, Elo-bear, as much as I can complain about you sometimes, I would like to thank you for all the work you put into Hallifax.

Would you be my Kismesis?
Hintaro2010-11-06 02:54:53

I just stopped doing it on a regular basis. I only hunt/bash when I feel active for some weird reason, then I hunt, collect rockeaters, influence villages, and other stuff. But I usually just lounge at the Pool talking to people or thinking up coding projects that go unfinished or a project that I will eventually require help with. I barely even aetherhunt.
Unlike so many people these days.

I did the same, but I'm back on the demi grind now.

While I am glad Kalikai finally decided to step up and be a patron, it would have been nice of her to do it before the city fell apart months ago instead of waiting for her Order to practically dissolve and say "oh hey if I don't do something now my order will just be Pirates of the Hearth"

Honestly? Run your own damn city. It isn't her city. It's -your- city. (At least it was. I'm not even trying to blame you I have a bigger point here.) The divine don't exist to run cities and fix every single little problem. That's the player's role. I think to pin any political drama on a divine is unfair and scape goating. Bad RP from NPC's, their fault. Bad quests and events, their fault. Piss poor players running a piss poor city, our fault.

You are forgetting Gregori/Kalin's motto here. "It's never MY fault."

Though my tweet is how ridiculous Ama'rua's become :/ It started off as four sibblings and two parents, and the parents saying 'I'm happy with four kids, let's build a home and enjoy each other's company.' Power corrupts in ugly ways, at times.
Gregori2010-11-06 04:02:46
You have no idea how wrong you are. An org with an involved patron -always- does better than an org with a lazy patron. If for no other reason than when the crap starts flying the patron can step in and say "enough is enough." When you have a city full of bickering children and no playground supervisor that org will fail and it has been seen time and again across these games and even in Lusternia itself.
Unknown2010-11-06 04:03:37
Eh, don't put words in my mouth. It has nothing with Gregori's attitude. It's more Gaudiguch in general and that the game overall needs to pick it up. Stop blaming people in general and put some work into it.

Edit: And I don't think it is ever a patron's place to step in and control politics. I've railed against it before. Players have every authority to step in and be that playground supervisor. It just involves cracking some heads and making people listen. It isn't hard. If I can do it anyone can.

So glad for the latest announce.

Should have been instituted in January as a result of the Celest shenanigans. Thankfully the playerbase is self-policing.
Unknown2010-11-06 04:16:01
Might have a couple of new kids, we'll see. -squeal- Kiddies running around the manses!

You see what is going on in Gaudiguch right now? Yeah, that's what happens when players crack heads and use their authority to stop the nonsense running rampant

Edit:: not to mention the mass issuing. I think I was up to 12 or more issues filed against me by the people who didn't like being "policed"... keeping in mind that these are the same people that couldn't get into any other org due to their behaviour, but I and the others in Gaudiguch should for some reason put up with it and we are the bad guys for not.

Seeing that post and the people who left Gaudiguch within moments of it all gives realisation to just how much shenanigans was going on in Gaudiguch and certain guild elections. It is something that definitely should have been dealt with in January.
