I think the generators are just overgrown EZ Bake ovens. -nod me-

If Hallifax starts putting fae from Crumkindivia into the generator, they'll never be forgiven. Ever. */ominous*

Until Hallifax learns to harness the power of the mightiest crystal of all: sugar crystals.
When that day comes, I'll orghop so fast.
Edit: I also dream of the day when I can be a Sugardancer who summons Crumkane's fae. And is in Crumkane's order. Who reveres Brother Cookie and Mother Candy. And draws yummy power from the Gummy Tree

Would the vermin be gummy worms?
Shulamit2011-03-29 03:39:32
No, the sugar must be used in tons and tons of sugary desserts, not empowering a generator! Moar peep ice cream! More sugared stationery! (if it gets accepted!)
Mirami2011-03-29 05:22:06
I suddenly have this inexplicable urge to move Mirami to Hallifax, skillflex to cooking, and create a project in the Institute based on utilizing the power of the Sugar Crystals for the takeover of the Basin...
Gleip2011-03-29 08:47:30
Noooo. Not sugar. Anything but sugar! Are you trying to kill me?

I will counter you, in enacting the hai'Gummy Zemordia with the help of Brother (Gummy) Bear and Mother (Turkish De)Night!

Gastronomy is an oft-overlooked field in Hallifax.
>_>
I want moar cooks.

:/ ...really, now?
Anyway looks like we managed to get a bubble, judging from the news. That's pretty neat.

I personally enjoy early morning shenanigans. That way, poor magnaserefax gets to win every so often too!
Though lol at celeglom having a zerg.

Unknown2011-03-29 13:14:22
Yes, you have a zerg. Every org has a zerg at some point in the day. Some just choose not to use it at every opportunity.
Unknown2011-03-29 13:19:05
Oh, I don't deny it.
To expand on my statement, the lol was for the implication that magnaserefax was some paragon of e-sportsmanship that never has a zerg and only brings equal numbers to the fight.
Though from my experience, whenever we come to raid etherwilde, seren has no problems bringing everyone and their friends to defend regardless of the size of the raidgroup. Ex: raid air last night with me and narynth - wobou, llandros, estwald, asmodea, turnus, tulemrah, morshoth, and whoever else show up.

Sounds about fair to me. By my math Shuyin = 5 people and Narynth = 2. Then Viynain showed up, we had to call an extra 3 to deal with him. Have to balance the fight you see.

Its never any different.
If a fight is happening somewhere, the chances of any random person getting involved is going to be some measure of that person's risk aversion against what they preceive as risk.
So, defending a non-prime, non-enemied location against a small number of opponents, if a defense group can get started, you can quickly mobilise the better part of your org. The more people you already have, the more likely you'll be able to get more, until you start running in to the "just aren't that many awake" wall.
In addition, the best counter to all but the most broken of skills is raw, brute numbers. If I were in Seren, and I knew I would be up against a coordinated gank squad with incurable aeon, pits, brumetower mucking up my demesne, and even Gloomtide (which, being in Celest, not having to spastically smash a re-enemy alias for the first time in a LONG time is quite nice), or I were in Gaudi still and up against a balestone/aero-room-damage ability/aeon locking group? I would always bring as many people of any org that would defend with me. Hurling yourself, piecemeal and doomed, into a meat grinder because a few coordinated people were bored probably isn't really high on most people's to-do list.
Actually, bar that. For defense, I would always bring as many people as I could dredge up every time, regardless of circumstances. Because to my mind, people attacking enemy territories must be reasonably confident they can at least escape from any expected threat.
Glom could likely whip up a sizeable force too for defense, if it were needed. But it never really is! The commune territories are probably still the most defensible territories in the game. Glom's even moreso than Serens, if only because Seren aspects are right inside the archway, and Glom's are clean across the area. Given that, and given that any attack there would be likely to run in to Shuyin, Xiels, Krellan, etc., compared to who Seren would likely be able to convince to charge into enemy territory, its little wonder that when Seren raids, they hit an elemental plane or some such.

Basically. Dun complain. Complaining is tiresome and won't get anything done.
