Yes Ilyssa, be sad you forgotted me and Sissy
I had birthday cake today! And lasagna, and tommorrow, I go out to dinner with family! Whee!

I always imagined Gaudiguch to be like a gay pride parade with a mix of a frat house kegger but it's more of a bridge afternoon at the retirement home

For a Saturday, it's been pretty dead.

Sometimes I miss RPing as an optimistic little Hallifaxian.
Y'know being the Syl who would throw in the flippant inappropriate comments at the Matrix and be chided by Phoebus, always go around trying to cheer people up via Lyrethian means, wind up in ridiculous situations that surely the Shevats would frown upon. The chick who'd overdrink in the manse and get giddy or sick, depending. And who swore to never go into politics ever, ever, ever. And would freak out when Lord Elostian appeared because she was convinced He found her silly.
I'm not sure when the change started happening in the RP. It was a slow change in some ways. *ponder*
Kinda tempts me to alt every so often, but I know I wouldn't split the time between the two characters well. And I do like the current RP most of the time. It's just sort of a nostalgic thing.
N stuff.

Does this include making jokes about scissoring at the Matrix? I will never forgive you for that.
I'd say I miss being the rebellious and rambunctious Phoebus, but I kind of don't. Well, I miss the situation from then, mostly- you know, how everything else was, and how easy things were. But Phoebus herself has grown from a brainless feathery asshole to a strange woman who flips between over-the-top eccentric and hardassed businesswoman. She's considerably less popular among her peers and is a bit out of place at some times, but you can't have it all.
I dunno. I love being Archmage, but things were a lot simpler before it. We're two silly girls who never should have gotten into politics and did.

Do too. I'm still enjoying myself, at least.

I just wished I didn't have so much to do this weekend so I can help out some more. But I'm also glad that things are coming together in Magnagora...

Iunno, those shears were askin for it.
Daraius2010-11-07 12:52:27
Being an emotionally sensitive pup turned out to be considerably less interesting than being so no nostalgia here. Daraius is in a good place, I think.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, the job does kind of limit character growth, or at least steer it in a particular direction by forcing me to interact with people in an Official CapacityTM all the time. Oh well. Only has to last as long as it's still fun.

Just wait untill your character is in triple digits. Then you look back and go "Where did all the FUN parts go?" and start wishing you had the money/time to make an alt.

Anyone finds it interesting that the Trans skill for Aeonics is called Paradox?
