Hearing about all the Gaudi raids only reinforces the many reasons why I don't want to go combatant. It's kind of like deciding to become a mountain climber for the first time after you fell into a crevasse. But whatever, i've been in mag when we were curb stomped. Ill live.

Yesh, I don't find it fun whether I'm on the winning or losing side, so I don't fight under any circumstances. Didn't stop me from getting enemied to every faction in Glomdoring, though. tongue.gif (<-passive aggressive emoticon)

When did you get enemied to Ebonguard? I do not recall that.

Ebonguard. The only faction in Glomdoring that doesn't enemy indiscriminately.

I knew that I would miss being able to see all the reports when I gave up envoying. But did you guys have to put up 2 Dreamweaving reports AND a runes report right after I left? Dx
Arath2011-04-12 16:16:44
Eh. Gaudi is managing just fine. Big raids is nothing compared to constant annoyances. If anything, I'd say the raid ended up helping Gaudi by giving it some more purpose.

They were waiting to once you got replaced.

sad.gif Seriously, every time I log in I get enemied to new people for things I didn't do nor had any part in. If this keeps up...

I don't know anymore.
Razenth2011-04-12 17:39:23
I totally woke up enemied to Night and I'm like, huh o_O.

Oh well! Go earn those enemy statuses then!

P.S. What's the sleepmist report? D:
Morshoth2011-04-12 18:08:01
Yeah, if I get enemied to something for some reason, I make sure I earn it afterwards

The worst thing you can do is take it personally. Usually its done for things like shrines or guards or the like. Is it "fair"? Probably not, but quite often its not worth the argument to get it reversed.

The other worst thing you can do is get mad about it, because some people can be sick little cookies and thrive off that sort of thing. On the off chance that such is the case, why feed the beast?

Should you rush off and earn it? That's your call. But, except in the cases of half addled failboats, usually if you DON'T, its pretty easy to get unenemied if you ever really want to, once stuff cools down.

That said, two of the times I've been enemied for essentially no reason at all by an idiot, I got it reversed with a few polite words to an org-mate of theirs that wasn't a deluded basket case. Of course, in both times, there was no raid or combat in the immidiate timeframe, and it was essentially isolated. Many of the times, its not worth the argument at all.

You are now in the same boat as me. You wait until the report is finalised to see, just as I have to wait with every other report.

Or, you know, ask an envoy to sum it up for you.....

I prefer reading it myself, just like I prefer reading logs myself, instead of having someone tell me, unless absolutely necessary, and while I love reading envoy reports, it's not necessary for me to read them straight away.

Edit:
Especially for those reports with a lot of comments, like the Shrine Invasion report, balestone report, etc. I want to read everything in the report, not get a short summary.
Ilyssa2011-04-12 20:26:54
It's obvious why they decided to use the Envoy system.
Unknown2011-04-12 20:34:58
90% of the time, people who say that they will make sure to earn said enemy status don't actually contribute enough to anything to matter.

Also it just makes the enemying tyrants even more self righteously smug.

What's funny is that those two people are more often than not the same.

The real question is "does it matter?"
Llesvelt2011-04-12 20:43:23
I have never gotten enemied to anyone at any point.

Maybe I am doing something wrong.
