Because the forums turn into a giant gladiator arena when telekinetic choke gets discussed. /facepalm

This is the Poe's law of Lusternia.

I will feel so vindicated when version 3 comes out.

Of my Telepathy module, that is, for Mudlet. I just need to figure out this rounding function so that way I don't alert myself that my enemy is at 36.243328347733333% ego.

Edit: Also, Hallifax loitering around at the Moonhart is making me exceptionally uncomfortable because I suck at group conversations with people out of my organization. :<

What does this module do now? :curious:

CODE
function round(num, idp)
    return tonumber(string.format("%." .. (idp or 0) .. "f", num))
end

num is the number you want rounded
idp is the place it rounds to. If idp is ommited, it rounds to a flat 0 places behind the decimal point.

EDIT: Bleh. Neos. Didn't see your post.

That was an allusion to something wholly unrelated, however I will be needing something like that eventually, so thank you both very much! ninja.gif

Did a forum search and found a thread from a year ago entirely unrelated but still interesting.

Haha, how people change.

I'm fiddling around on a Guadiguch alt. Guys, your collegium quests have all your answers. Seriously.

The Templar guards give a good enough answer, even without looking at what the Collegium says, not to mention what Schuchi has said, but oh well.

Gaudi's college is pretty great, I was really impressed by the atmosphere (except the fire imp or something quest which I don't know if it was broken or not but it made no sense) when I first saw it.

I'll play it safe and guess All of the Above.

Also because it is required for the Serenwilde Epic Quest, and you've no guarantee that Quettle doesn't decide to deposit you in a room with tons of spirits, and leave you off balance for a long time.

I know the gate doesn't stay open for too long, but I'm pretty sure you can LOOK THROUGH GATEWAY first, and wait for a few spirits to scatter before entering, much in the same way you can look through archways on ethereal.

I loved the fire part, where they tied in the Sacred Flames.

Really! I didn't get the sense that it had anything to do with Serenwilde at all. That's a head-scratcher.

EDIT: Probably because I always just thought of it as a lobo rite of passage. Mostly it's the wasted potential for coolness that bugs me about that quest.

It doesn't but a specific item there is needed in order to complete one part.
Unknown2010-11-10 15:58:36
If anything, it should be part of Gaudiguch's Epic Quest
Shiri2010-11-10 15:59:32
Yeah, one of the Aspects of Hart trades enlightenment for some magic poop for whatever reason.

EDIT: Actually that may not be the exact one involved, but it's still a bit mystifying.
