Aye, aye. I am willing to recognize that. However, people will argue that influencing > bashing, or that bashing > influencing.

Golden Delicious apples and Granny Smith apples are separate things, but they're still apples. I'll grant you the difference, but it doesn't make bashing and influencing incommensurable.

I wouldn't use Granny Smiths for anything except cooking. Far too bitter.

The only thing I feel like hunting really outclasses influencing in is honour gain. Assuming I have the best available to me on both fronts, I still get more honour per unit time hunting even with a hunting malus AND an influence bonus. Stupid House of Letters.

Well, Delicious make good fried apple rings, actually () - not to mention their tendency for water loss makes them good for distance lobbing (at unsuspecting neighbors/classmates/children-who-come-too-close-to-your-porch/politicians. They also do well in fruit salads and the like. Granny Smiths fair best in pies and apfelkuchen, imo.

I have to disagree with this argument. You should be comparing to MODULE LOCK, sit on a collector for two hours while three trans aethercraft people with crit runes sit on the turrets and do the real work and someone else hits the aliens before they lay their eggs inside of you.

For pies you can't beat Arkansas Blacks. They are also exceptional when baked with some cinnaon and raisins.
