I did a lot of work running around the elemental planes gathering essence to put in the construct. But apparently that doesn't count as helping. Whereas people who went to Astral and did nothing but die get coins. *sigh*

whoa whoa whoa, I may have died a few times, but I did much more than that, as did lots of people. Don't belittle their involvement

It's a little nice just to get involved and post something, plus I met two literate and non-obnoxious novices today who I was able to help, so that's a nice. I wouldn't have been arsed to do it without you, mysterious robes benefactor, thanks!

Just wish they had actually told us that doing stuff for the construct didn't count as helping fight the ice skulls. Then I would have gone to Astral, instead of doing something else that I thought I'd be more useful doing.

Sorry to be a downer, but the announce post did say drain the nodes and defeat the shades and wraiths. sad.gif

But I thought the things the construct made were to help drain the nodes? Or did I misunderstand what people were telling me?

But it is not draining the node, or killing the creatures.

The post said it was happening on astral, that the nodes needed to be drained and the shades and wraiths needed to be defeated. Yes, the plasma bomb was needed, but it was not the main thing.

Missing the lion's share of the ice devil event due to working, and subsequently not getting many bites. Then DC'ing during a domoth.
