Aaah, why did I get so many blessings?! My stat was already -just- too big to fit on the screen, now it's HUGE. I should have just let my extra karma go to waste. Five blessings, only three of which I actually wanted? I'm going to be spending all my time influencing just to upkeep them, which means three of them will be completely wasted.

Just take it easy. Even if you could buy demigod, getting a cult wouldn't come any closer if you lack the motivation to bash up to demigod. Why, you'd need to have 75 million essence just to buy veneration to make it possible, nevermind whatever you may need to start learning veneration once you have it.
