Holy this arena is so confusing. Why can't Hallifax have something with a map that doesn't make my brain go pretzel shape? <_>
My blizzard is going to WRECK in this place.

With all the room names I am seeing...I is scared!

Awesome, another place to barely be capable of navigating. I need an adult!

Central axis of the Continuum Simulation.
A gargantuan pillar of solid crystal rises up from a hole in the centre of this
large natural cavern, only to disappear again in a similar hole in the ceiling.
The pillar is jagged and irregular, consisting out of many different types of
crystal and dotted at random spots with dazzling clusters of various types of
gems, making the pillar seem almost engineered. A deep, penetrating light
emanates and pulses from deep within the crystal pillar, and discharges of
energy occasionally ripple along the outside, confirming the theory that this
structure holds a purpose beyond simple ornamentation. The crystal hall which
surrounds the pillar has a strangely surreal air, and appears to pivot around
the central axis, making this location seem alien and unreal.
You see exits leading north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west,
and northwest.

I think this explains some of it.

Everything HAS to pulsate or discharge light. Or taint. Or it ain't Lusternian.
Shamarah2010-12-04 01:51:31
Or a toxic atmosphere.

Ooh, I'll be home soon to see what my magical Ministry powers can do.

Looking at what happened on Nil earlier, I saw something amusing. I sent two weapon swing attacks together. The first one hit, the embedded rad rune hit me twice, putting me right back where I was, and then the second attack hit! Perfect timing and aim there.
Rika2010-12-04 02:11:30
Skylark is nowhere near as confusing as you guys are making it out to be.
Tweet: Bard combat. It's great and all, but it's just so hard to set up an offence without anyone who has any idea what they're doing stopping you.

Yeah, now the initial 'What the? Where am I now? Where did this exit take me?' is over, it does seem to be quite manageable.
Shamarah2010-12-04 02:29:33
Yeah, at first I was wondering why the hell anyone would structure an arena this way, but most of it is actually pretty cool. The only part that is obnoxious and makes no sense is the desert part.
Unknown2010-12-04 02:39:33
Yeah, second time in it isn't so bad. First time though, I was terrified of it.
Jayden2010-12-04 02:51:18
I wrote a play and think its cute, but I cant find a gd bookbinder so I can puts in the library.

Druid jumpings are rare enough as they are.
Though, the lack of ways that I can pinpoint to shut it down is irking me. I can't tell by my little snippet, but are you using hyperhydrosis even while paralysed.
Furien2010-12-04 03:42:52
Same restrictions as any psionic action, I think.
