You know, I sometimes wonder if the number of OOC "misstells" that occur in Serenwilde seems so drastically disproportionate to other orgs because other org members simply don't post them here for me to read or if people in Seren just don't care. That said, I've never seen in the orgs I have been in those types of misstells so frequently and afterwards still continued in such an OOC fashion. (Barring the occasional rowdy newbie, of course.)

We used to be decently bad for quoting from OOC clans with rediculously stupid topics of conversation, but I never mistell to Celest's channel. You just look like an idiot. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen any blatantly OOC mistells on Celest's channel. Yes, there is the occasional newcomer, but we handle those insane comments via tells or the newbie channel.
RP and staying in-character is far more important for me now that it was before.

I've no issue with OOC clans. I'm in them. That's fine to me. But breaking the game world so badly and so often just seems like it eventually should warrant something to remind repeat offenders to be more careful.

It's not "the people", it's just three or four people at most. Haiden alone is responsible for 90% of the ridiculous ones these days, and one suspects he does many of them on purpose.
