Fraesic Sunfar, Keeper of the Matrix says, "Once the seat of power within the Basin of Life, the sole survivor of Hallifax, Archmage Cririk Adom, was forced to sever our city from the Empire's control. A society built on faith and magic, their aquatic tendencies and their nigh absolute devotion to the half-formed entities known as the Supernals leads them down a strange path, one that at times intersects our own of intellectual enlightenment."

Two novices were attacked by statues and teleported home, in need of cures. This was the resulting conversation.
It's just really annoying that I can't have a conversation without wordswordswordswords. It was my one thing I loved, I relished, about coming back to Phoebus after alting. Not having to hear stupid chatty nexus-keepers ramble about stupid crap I don't care about. At least the guards are still quiet.

Maybe a good compromise would be for the nexus keepers to have a cooldown period. Whenever they do one of those speils, have them set a flag, then send a message to themselves to reset the flag after a minute. When the flag's set, they don't respond to all the non-vital trigger words. From what I recall of mob scripting from my days in Aetolia, that wouldn't be too hard to code, I think. (But that was years ago.)
Kiradawea2010-12-03 19:51:53
Don't purposefully say the trigger words if it bugs you so much.

Noooooo. When I was doing the generators, I always felt so awkward when it was like, "Oh, yeah, hey... it looks like y'all are having fun but I need this justice. Sorry to interrupt you..." and then silence.
Y'all have to be down at the Matrix. There are only so many times I can sit at the Matrix by myself and SAY TO FRAESIC Fae. Before it gets old.
