I mean it in sarcasm. Demigod really has no bearing on if I am or am not enjoying Lusternia. Though for those it does I'm pretty sure that's why. Demigod isn't special anymore, it once was. Those who do feel that way about demigods do seem to fall into one of two camps. Either you're someone who was once a special demi and you're upset that you no longer are special or you're someone who is upset at those who got demigod with all of the exp bonuses, aetherbashing, ect. but still tout that they've made some glorious achievement by reaching demi. It's now equivelent to level 80 in WOW.

So yeah, sarcasm but I was trying to sum up how those who are upset over the way demi has changed. In a mocking fashion, of course. Now go look at how cool the god realm event was! Lets do that again!

You're right, Demi is the same as level 80 in WoW. My only sadness is it didn't have to be that way. I was the 3rd person to get it and it took a full year and a half to reach, and we're talking 8-10hr or longer sessions per day (yes I had no life). It takes like no time anymore, in fact some people have a couple lvl 100 characters lol.

Oh well, this is a nostalgia thread, no reason to call people assholes for remembering things.

Clearly we need a Demigod 2.0 now, that isn't an Ascendant popularity contest, something that takes so much time, essence, quest honours, -age-, and whatnot to become that Estarra will have wrinkles by the time someone gets it.

There's still a few people that respect their opponants, I do, even if I don't always show it.

It only really takes one or two people to go 'lulz newb' to colour your view of the PK-ers.

Teruelle strikes me as someone that respects his enemies, Marie, too.

There are a few people I can think of that are really rude and obnoxious but really they're not worth mentioning.

Remember when Quotes used to be funny?

I was reading the old Quotes threads because Xenthos' post about the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air sounded strangely familiar, so I went and searched for it. And ended up reading 10-20+ pages (or more, I lost count), laughing all the way. Then I looked at our current Quotes and... yeah.

Go and grab a random old Quotes thread and read some of those old quotes. It's really nostalgic.

It seems like quotes is being hijacked a lot by side subjects. I notice it seems like there's a lot of master threads now instead of people creating new ones (tweets, etc.).

Honestly, I really like how the city turned out. Sure the drama sucks, but I actually love the atmosphere, and it really helped Seraku's RP since his race's homeland returned after years of people saying it'd never happen.

"Semigod" sounds vaguely erotic. Players would be all, "YES! Finally got semi!"

Rika's response in the Random affliction log thread helped me remember this:
When I was a newb, there was a huge election in Celest and 3 minutes before it ended, I just got out of a spar and was attacked by a moondancer with global moonburst. I ran to the Pool and just as everyone was going "oh noes! Moondancer attack!", the election ended and Nydekion became the new prince(I think he replaced Steingrim(I just remembered him too!)).
