The epic aethershop raid. No shop was left untouched. The world was our booty. Damn Aesyra and her bulldog-like detective work. Kharvik throwing tons of Richter's priceless items into the Megalith to "get rid of the evidence". I still chuckle about it.

It really was a different time... I miss thievery, actually.

Then go back to Achaea. There's still tons of theft there.

Thievery I'm glad they stomped into the ground and will never come back again. That's one bad thing from RL we don't need to bring into a game world.

Selfishness, and shop allies.

If you get stolen from you fail.

1. Everyone on the forum hates on you.
2. They made it mechanically impossible to steal from shops. The admin implemented a shop allies system where only the shopkeeper and the people on their special shop ally list can take anything from the floor, including gold.

At the time, people still acted tastefully and acted in an IC manner if they as players felt differently. So the situation was a little different.

Goddamn, yeah. During the first Mag/Seren war you could level up two or three times by boulderblasting a crowded room on Ethereal.

This just occured to me now, but...remember when no one had windtalk or lipread or anything and multicultural groups would form up in mountains a lot either for raiding forests or mining villages or whatever, so people would get huge swathes of "I couldn't hear you because of the wind" and spam emotes up the screen every time someone tried to say something?
