That's what I'm worried about. It's too perfect. How did he find the big guy? Sheer dumb luck? It's possible, but it seemed like he knew exactly what he was doing. I think it's a ploy to get in our good graces. "He took out the big V, there's no way he's on their side! Good work Solanis, pats on the back all around." It would be absolutely stupid for a townie to just be able to know who all the scum were, especially head honcho scum. I'm not buying it.

It might just be skill. After all, we have a Kira who managed to nail 3 out of 4 scum in the last mafia she played it at day one based only on posting. Solanis managed to nail one scum after consistently scummy posting and power use that implicated him. You're awfully aggressive against him. Sad that he's betraying you? Angry that he found a nifty trick to make himself seem townie? The bolded line is the most amusing one though. Where on earth is it suggested that he knows who all the scum are? One scum is not all.

Well, since he had a nightkill, and someone still died last night, I'd say it was a pretty good move to get rid of him. In mafia terms, isn't there usually a head mafia guy? If so, V-man would definitely fit the bill. And he counted as a Death Eater, so we still needed him dead.

Well yeah, him being dead is super rad. But my point was that even though it looks like a really great and super-damaging move against the Death Eaters, it's actually just the same as killing any of the other ones, so I'm not totally convinced on the "Solanis can't be a Death Eater because he killed the big one" thing. And he's Snape, who is also canon a Death Eater, valiantly roleblocking and protecting us from the evil Lord V-mort. Like a zillion of my spidey senses are tingling at once. I don't know what I have to do to get y'all to listen to me. I guess I'll just be the crazy doom-espousing hobo in the corner. ninja.gif

I don't mean to get off topic from Solanis and Caerulo, but who isn't/hasn't been talking?

Ok, I've been up for like a thousand hours so I'm all crazied up, so I actually went back and skimmed through the thread and such to answer this instead of trying to guess I kind of fizzed out a bit of the ways through it though so I'm sorry if I missed any breathtaking insight from one of you. Feel free to correct me!

Ileein, Dynami, Gleip, and Lilia all have 18 posts each. It's Lilia's first game, and while she hasn't been posting too terribly often to get a big postcount, she's had about the same activity over both days and makes her opinions on relevant things known. Gleip's activity is almost all from the first day where he was being aggressive, since he was mostly inactive on the second day due to work. Still focused on game more than flavor. Most of Ileein's are from the first day and tend to lean more towards flavor and such, since then adding occasional commentary and a mention of his power. The vast majority of Dynami's activity is from day one, asking about win conditions/discussing flavor/making corrections to posts. In terms of posts that actually pertain to the current happenings of the game, he has the fewest.

I'm tired of playing all wishy-washy and "I don't want to lynch someone oh no" so yes I am trying this "be aggressive" thing out. And no I didn't mean to say I think he knows who all the scum is, I was saying that would be silly if he did. Pardon if that was misunderstood.

I haven't even voted on him this go 'round! I am just all hells of suspicious and giving my reasons why I am so. I would love to look at someone else. I would enjoy getting the topic moved onto new information! If anyone has any tasty infos I would be all for hearing it.

Caerulo hasn't really spoken up since a few votes popped on him (We're at what... four on him with seven needed to lynch?). He honestly wasn't at the top of my list, but then again my gut hasn't really been doing me service this game. I'll go ahead and VOTE CAERULO and hopefully he'll come around soon and do a bit of convincing the mob or get caught up through posting.
Ileein2010-12-22 06:03:16
For the record, this event has sapped much of my attention. I've tried to offer pertinent observations where possible. You guys are just too fast for little old me sometimes! sad.gif

Snape started working for Dumbledore as soon as he learned that V-man had killed Lilly. So he's been on the Order's side since Harry was a year old. He did so much good for the Order that Harry named one of his kids after him. So, there's plenty of canon material to support Snape being on the 'good' side. I suppose it's possible, depending on the setup, that he could go either way, but I think I'm leaning towards him being a good guy here.

And... another silent streak. Well, if people don't start speaking up and pointing fingers at anyone else, I'll vote for Caerulo in about... 8 hours. Currently, he's definitely the prime suspect in my eyes (for all the reasons already stated). I don't want to vote right now and put him in ninja-lynch mode (By my count there's five out of the 7 needed?).
Diamondais2010-12-22 13:11:16
Strange he's not talking at all, he definitely has a lot of pressure on him.
Diamondais2010-12-22 13:12:11
Damn it, I accidentally hit add reply.

I count five votes on him, that is definitely enough pressure to force a claim, since seven is needed to lynch. Six is dangerous, because someone can ninja.

So, Caerulo, what do you have to say for yourself?
Mirami2010-12-22 18:41:48
VOTECOUNT

Caerulo (3): Feyrll, Solanis, AllergectoSabres

Who'm I missing?
Ileein2010-12-22 18:43:45
Me, apparently!

And uh.. Bump!
Ssaliss2010-12-22 21:08:23
Well, my time-limit has ended.

Vote: Caerulo

This puts him at six out of seven votes, so next vote lynches.
Diamondais2010-12-22 22:08:23
He's posting a lot on other threads, this is kind of annoying.
Lilia2010-12-22 22:08:51
I've seen Caerulo post several times on the forums since these latest votes against him, but nothing here. Vote: Caerulo
Casilu2010-12-22 22:15:49
Ia! Ia! Cthulhu Fhtagn!

I'm sorry, please continue.

Why would you pop in the lynch vote like that out of the blue? angry.gif

Caerulo (7): Feyrll, Solanis, AllergictoSabres, Gleip, Ileein, Ssaliss, Lilia

The group leads Caerulo into a corner... And that's the end of that.

QUOTE (role)
You are Gibbon, a little-known Death Eater who is often charged with menial tasks, such as raising the Dark Mark over Hogwarts’ Astronomy Tower.

Once during the game, you may post Cast Morsmordre during the day to bring the day to a close and move to night, with a side effect of summoning the Dark Lord and thereby preventing any lynching that would have occurred.

You can communicate with Lord Voldemort at night.

You win with the Death Eaters.

Death Eaters alive: 2

It is now, uh, Night 3. 24-ish hours for night actions.
