We really need to know who the last Order member is. If it's Gleip, I'm willing to withdraw my vote from Phoebus and place it on Dynami, and assume the swamp made it impossible to track him (after all, it said that people had changed clothes). Heck, it had to have done something... although such a power in the hands of a townie sounds odd.

I have to go out to dinner in about 10 minutes- if you want to kill me, try not to do it until I get back so I at least have a chance at defending myself, please? Ok, looking forward to reading what's up when I get back.

And I didn't do anything last night, when Ileein was killed. Plus, it said that AtS was killed due to hanging around with DE, so it's more likely that he was killed as collateral damage when he checked out Solanis, who was killed by the DE.
You were visited by Ileein and Gleip, who are both roleblockers (at least maybe, for Ileein). I do think it is likely though that AtS was just collateral.
Ssaliss2011-01-09 23:22:24
Okay. Let's gather what we KNOW for sure.
Lilia and Diamondais are Order. Lilia claimed first, and Diamondais supported her claim. I think the remaining Order members would have said something if this wasn't the case.
Casilu claimed Fudge. Given that role, I'm more than willing to believe her, even if it's technically not been supported or proven.
That leaves, unproven:
Ssaliss
Phoebus
Gleip
Dynami
One of the above is Order, one is DE. That is what we know. Extra groups are possible, but theories.
Diamondais followed Phoebus on night two, saw nothing strange. This was the night Jack died, so Phoebus didn't kill Jack.
Diamondais followed Dynami through a swamp on night three, but didn't see him do anything. This was the night Solanis and AtS died. Due to there being a swamp that we know nothing about, I'm not willing to say it's proven that Dynami didn't kill them.
Diamondais saw me sleep, and I was visited by Ileein and Gleip, on night four. This was last night, when Ileein was killed. Since I'm guessing both Gleip and Ileein roleblocked me, I'd say it's proven that I had nothing to do with the death of Ileein.
This leaves one role: Gleip. Thus, I feel it's very important to know if he's the last Order member or not. If he is, the most likely in my eyes would be Dynami, and Diamondais lost track of him in the swamp. It could be that the swamp scrambled everyone's orders, what with the night-summary saying everyone's clothes were switched. If Gleip isn't the last Order, he is the only one who hasn't been watched and confirmed innocent.

Oh, just noticed that there is a piece of (rather strong) evidence regarding Casilu claiming Fudge, unlike as I wrote above. On night 1, Diamondais visited her when AtS and Trinit came to visit, which matches the night-summary perfectly.
Lilia2011-01-09 23:41:55
Unless Trinit lied to Solanis, the last DE has a daykill. We really don't want Harry to claim.
I think at this point, other 'group(s)' are highly unlikely. We've seen two dead people so far with alternate win conditions, I think that's enough to cover the suspicion on that point.

Ah, yes. A daykill does make it harder. Hrm. I'll have to ponder this one for a minute...

Because of time zones, I'll probably be eating dinner by the time Phoebus gets back, so I want to put this out here now, before I forget.
You cannot apparate or disapparate on Hogwarts grounds. This is stated so many times in the books, it's actually a bit of a running joke when ever someone mentions apparition as a possibilty. Even if that wasn't the case, you have to have a license to apparate, which you can't get until you're 17, which is only ~1/7 of the student population. Susan Bones is in the same year as Harry, so depending on when this is set, she could be 17, but either way. This claim sounds very made up to me.

Alright. I'm Susan Bones, a student, and I win with the Ministry. My power is that I have a 50% chance to resist nightkills. The successful 50%, I apparate away from the danger. The unsuccesful 50%, I splinch myself while apparating and die anyway.
I had to look up splinching on the wiki when I got my role because I didn't remember it from the books, and yikes, that would be a crappy way to die.

Hard to say if the slip-up was on her part or on the part of Romertien though. I couldn't remember the no-apparating-on-Hogwarts thing. But yes, it does cast suspicion over the claim.

If Harry claims and we have the last DE in sight, I have a way to stop him from day-killing. Behold the greatest power Hallifax has to offer: pointless meetings.

Hey, I'm just sayin' what I've got. Anyway, how would you explain me being roleblocked/watched on nights where there were kills to no effect? Especially the one where two people died, but I was blocked, and there was only one DE left around?
And IMHO, we should leave who the last Order person/who Harry is up in the air. Even if there is a way to block it, if the daykill person is still around, then they could slip theirs in before that power was called. Unless the power works differently than that?
At the moment I'm most suspicious of Ssaliss or Dynami.
(Also, just got back from dinner, hi!)

Well, my story is the same as yours, really. I was watched and (most likely) blocked last night when Ileein was killed.
