Actually yes. A modkill WOULD be needed, as you just stole a day from town.
Ssaliss2011-01-11 00:33:42
I agree. He broke the rules before he was lynched.
Unknown2011-01-11 00:36:08
I don't want to seem like I'm pointing fingers, but it seems obvious that if town goes out of their way to make a kill before the mod can check, the lynch goes through before the mod can take action.

When you voted, you should have done so with such a possibility in mind.

Either, Dynami gets killed shortly for breaking the rules, or we keel dynami for making a false roleclaim.
Unvote
Vote: Dynami

Seems pretty clear to me that I seperated the issues. Trying to help the game save time on the chance that it was not a false claim should not be punished. But meh. No biggie.
Gleip2011-01-11 00:39:17
Erm. That it was a false claim. I am tiredish.

Then the same can be said about day-powers in messages to the mod. If someone is about to get lynched, but sends a message to the mod with OMGSUPERAWESOMESAVE-power before the last vote falls, he'd still (hopefully) be saved.
Mirami2011-01-11 01:03:40
Provided said message was before twilight (vote #4, in this case), yeah.

You guys were going to lynch Dynami with or without my help. No reason to give town an extra day, especially when you're up 6-1 still.

====THE DAILY PROPHET===========

Nothing to report here. Nothing of interest last night, insofar as we are aware...

(Of course, we'd be more aware if our investigative reporter hadn't been killed, but that's beside the point!)

============================

Death Eaters Alive: 1

It is now DAY 6. With 6 alive, it takes 4 to lynch.

Ssaliss2011-01-12 09:31:51
Huh? No nightkill? Okay...

I hope this doesn't paint too much of a target on me, but I want to know more about your meetings, Casilu. More specifically, is it a targetted power that only works on one person at a time, or does it affect everyone? Is it a one-shot power, or can you use it every day? Also, I'm assuming it works the whole day and not just for a duration...
Ssaliss2011-01-12 15:13:10
Anyone else have something to say?
Diamondais2011-01-12 15:17:52
I protected myself last night. It's still either you or Phoebus. tongue.gif

If that's an admittance that Gleip is Harry, then it's definitely Phoebus. Here's my reasoning (that I typed up during the night):

We currently have the following confirmed people:

Ssaliss - Claims Dobby, Ministry. No powers.
Lilia - Dumbledore, Order. Claim supported by Diamondais
Diamondais - Kingsley, Order. Her claim wasn't refuted by Lilia, which I take as confirmation.
Phoebus - Claims Susan Bones, Ministry. Resistant to nightkills.
Gleip - Unclaimed. Has at least a roleblocking power.
Casilu - Claimed Fudge, Ministry. Supported by data gathered by Diamondais.

This leaves us with three unsupported or no claim.

Ssaliss: Was followed by Dia and likely powerblocked by Ileein and Gleip the night Ileein was killed.
Phoebus: Was follwed by Dia on night two without anything revealed. Was roleblocked by Gleip on night 3 when Solanis and AtS was killed.
Gleip: Nothing is known, aside from him being able to roleblock.

My thoughts: Since there are three unsupported claims, and I'm one, I obviously have two suspects: Gleip and Phoebus. Gleip is a big black hole of information; he hasn't been followed or roleblocked, as far as we know, nor has he roleclaimed. It's a bit too much of a black hole, if you ask me, so I'm pegging him as Harry. This leaves Phoebus. She was followed without any gains on night 2, and roleblocked on night 3 when Solanis and AtS was killed.. Night 3 was the same night as the swamp though, and since we have no idea what it does, I'm not counting the roleblocks as evidence of innocence. She was followed on night 2 when Jack was killed, but at that point Caerulo was still alive, so that doesn't mean anything either. Caerulo could have been the one to kill Jack that night. With that in mind,

Vote: Phoebus

Oh, and Casilu, if you're reading this, might want to employ that meeting of yours. I wanted to wait with this post until you explained more about the power, but Dia kinda let the cat out of the bag...
Diamondais2011-01-12 15:24:46
I just find yours and Phoebus' claims the weirdest. tongue.gif

So ignore the claim and go after what we know? I was blocked and watched when there was only one DE around, and Phoebus was watched when there were several and blocked when there were two.
Unknown2011-01-12 15:39:03
Aww screw it, I'm sick of you rascally kids. I was planning on saving this for today to take Casilu down with me in a blaze of glory, but since my move last night didn't work (laaame), y'all have a way to block daykills, and there's no way I'm making it through today alive, I'm totally boned in my plans to block the Order from winning.

I'm just going to go ahead and AVADA KADAVRA GLEIP before you can call a meeting to stop me.
Ssaliss2011-01-12 15:41:54
Well crap.
Mirami2011-01-12 15:50:10
A flash of green light bursts from the tip of Phoebus' wand, striking Gleip firmly in the chest. He collapses like the sack of potatoes you always theorized he might be.

QUOTE (role)
You are Harry Potter, the Boy who Lived. You have a pointy scar on your forehead, and are, apparently, the only hope against the Dark Lord. You are immune to lynches and most other kills.

Once per night, you can EXPELLIARMUS to disarm them.

You may communicate with your fellow Order members at night. They are:

You win with the Order of the Phoenix.

Death Eaters Alive: 1

With five alive, it takes three to lynch.
Ssaliss2011-01-12 15:51:54
So... two more votes to seal the deal?
Unknown2011-01-12 15:55:32
I just wish that would have worked last night like it was supposed to. But hey, I killed Harry Potter, that's enough for me. Sayonara, suckerrssss. cool.gif Vote: Phoebus
