Sorry, completely misunderstood your post then. Ignore!

Solanis wasn't mafia. He was a mafia traitor. But you made someone immune to kills unless roleblocked? And then made one of the best roleblockers an ally? Who would elsewise be completely immune if Shacklebolt played correctly? This seems almost as scum hostile a game as the Touhou game.

I"m Dumbledore, though. Dumbledore can't be killed by just anybody.
Unknown2011-01-12 19:26:58
Also. On Night 1, no one talked to me. No message from Trinit. When the next day started and no one was killed, I had no idea if we had just never sent in an action or what.
Lilia2011-01-12 19:32:30
I didn't get much communication either, except from Solanis, and he was killed pretty early on. I would sometimes get a response if I sent a message first, and it was usually very short.

And everyone should've known instantly who you are. In themed mafia games such as these, unless there's given some prior story to it, such as the hero game where everyone were from different stories/times and really only knew that they were kidnapped there by crazy bored gods, you need to suspend disbelief a little for game balance.
I actually planned on averting this partially in the meta-mafia, in that I wouldn't make everyone know who their name was, but you'd describe everyone to one another. Too bad that game never got off ground.

Good game all. I thought I'd subtly but not so subtly said enough in support of Casi to make it seem like I KNEW she was Fudge without actually outing my role powers, but I guess some of you still had doubts after I was dead. Also, at that point in the game, I probably should have just announced my power and said who I was socializing with each night, but the information I got out of them wasn't always something. I super lucked out finding out Casi's role night 1. Other times my stuff didn't turn up much. (Rome was using a roll system to determine my success for info, I believe) But yeah, I suppose if I'd announced socializing Phoebus beforehand and then had my death like that, you all would have jumped her right away.
I had my hopes. The day after started off with people suspecting her and even a few votes, but then it turned.
Again, good game.

I really do apologize for this, usually when night rolled around it was silly late for me or I was busy.

I actually had no idea you'd ever targeted me. I was just like pew pew killin' some dude.

Wow...then Trinit only talked with me? interesting....I assumed he talked with you since he didn't say anything about talking with you (like he did with Sol saying Trinit could only talk with him on odd nights).
Overall I'm sad Cae didn't use the power....would have helped a lot.
Kiradawea2011-01-12 20:20:40
Eh. As I said, this was a very scum hostile game, and allowing a group to die just because their head dude died is also pretty poor. Neeh. I feel sorry for the DE and OotP.

Ahaha, Casilu's two facedness blows my mind.
Having said that, you guys totally should have lynched Phoebus after I named her. -.-
And yeah, I wasn't allowed to go right out and say who was scum or not.

Totally. I was wondering why you guys didn't go for Phoebus, especially after he got the other two scum for you. It was obvious that he was told who the last scum was.
We're actually all kind of lucky that I got killed on night zero. I actually snooped on Solanis and would have got him lynch.

Either he would've died afterwards or would've had to come out pretty early about being a double agent, which would've lost the Order some headway.
Feyrll2011-01-12 20:43:18
I'm just sad I didn't get to use my bag of tricks - I was totally planning on bleeding Harry out in the end so that the Order of Ministry would lose
Oh well, good game!

Why the Order hate?
Ileein2011-01-12 21:26:54
Ahahaha oops. I may not have won but I did end up causing total havoc, and I will take that as a personal victory (if an accidental one).

Very fun game. I had a blast for the only day I was alive, and the hardest part about reading after was trying not to make comments.
My role seems to have disappeared from the final role roster. Was I ever able to gain powers, or was it just something in my role PM to mess with my head?
Also, I'm going to agree with Kira, scum had it rough in this game. Eesh.

My powers are missing too...
Mirami2011-01-13 00:13:41
I lost those, unfortunately
I had you all penciled in for night 6, and would have made them back up again. It would've been something like 1 investigator and 2 one-shot powers (probably a double vote-weight and an investigate) to round out with the Jack-of-all-trades Fred.
And, uh, yeah. Not the most scum-friendly game. (On the other hand, they almost won anyways...) I wanted a game that tended to lean pro-town from the start-- In most of the past games here, Scum has won pretty easily, so I was a bit biased towards town when giving powers. Order, for instance, was all but unkillable (Ileein was the extra roleblocker with BELLOW, which really messed things up...). I forgot that I gave Dumbly-dore NK protection, or Lilia would've died last night protecting Gleip... (which didn't actually end up mattering, as it turned out).
