(Also, can a Mod-Type Person Un-Pin this now that the game's finished? )

Oh? Seems to me scum usually lose. Sure, Arath won earlier, but that's because Casilu loves Deathnote and most people wouldn't consider Deathnote to appear in a game about crazy temporal thugs.

To all those asking why I didn't end the day when I was targeted, I couldn't. I specifically asked Romertien about that. If you read my role, my day-ender works by summoning Lord V. However, he was dead, and so I lost that power.

I said I would explain why I didn't post anything at all the day after I pulled my stunt. Here goes:

Firstly, Trinit told Solanis everything. doh.gif At first, I was hoping very fervently that Trinit didn't tell him EVERYTHING, but turned out that that happened. doh.gif

Secondly, my 'oops I didn't read that' stunt. I lied about not reading the previous posts, but I didn't lie about having to leave. If I had the time, I would have posted my vote just before the deadline ended instead of two hours or so before. Here's why:
1. I save Trinit, and lynch Solanis
2. I was hoping that Snape would show up as Death Eater, and hence 'prove' that Trinit is innocent, thus keeping our 'Godfather' alive.
3. I know that it would be suspicious, so I would use the next day to try and confuse the heck out of everyone, and just before I get lynched, use my day-stopper to get another night-kill and force everyone else to target me that night.

Unfortunately, all three points above failed. Trinit died and Solanis became 'confirmed town', Solanis ended up being revealed as Order when dying, so my plan wouldn't have worked any way, and lastly, I couldn't even buy one more night because I lost my day-stopper when Lord V died.

On top of the above points, that period was around the time when I was studying for my finals, so I didn't have the time to think up of anything.

As for why we didn't use the 'revenge kill' on Solanis, at that time I wasn't sure if he knew every scum, or just Trinit, so we thought that having him die immediately after he pushed so strongly for Trinit's death would place suspicion on both Phoebus and me, so we decided to hold off on the kill until later. Again, this was pointless because he already knew who were all the scum, and I really should have just killed him.

I was already pretty demoralised based on just Snape's role, but after looking at all of the roles, I can only say, wow, scum had no chance:
1. Right from the beginning, a townie already knows who is the Godfather, appears to be scum-aligned to the Godfather, AND is mason to a confirmed townie? There isn't even any avenue for someone playing Lord V to manipulate Snape into wrongly declaring scum, because Snape already knows he talks with Lord V who is the big bad.
2. A townie group can all talk to each other? And are all almost-confirmed townie roles? With a night-AND-day kill immunity, roleblocker+lynch-AND-kill immunity and doctor, and they can all coordinate among themselves?
3. Scum also has to eliminate ONE particular person who is immune to lynches and can roleblock, AND scum has no investigative powers. How are we supposed to find out who Cornelius is short of attempting to night-kill and lynch everyone?
4. On top of all of the above, three scum in a game of 16? And their abilities are scum-kill, one-shot day-ender and one-shot daykill? Of which the two one-shot abilites basically reveal that they are scum?

In the best case scenario, the only possible way I can see for scum to win is for Lord V to have used the Night 0 kill on Snape. So, basically, giving town a free Night, because none of the other scum have any night actions.

In short, I didn't really enjoy myself playing this game. sad.gif
