Mine doesn't really, at least in any way to perceive, so I don't think I follow that.

This comic is entirely new to me, however, so I might need to read up on the wiki stuff more.

You should read everything MSPA. It is all so deliciously good. wub.gif Hussie is such a goofy and intelligent writer, not to mention a superb author.

And yeah, my role has nothing to do with my card, either. So I guess Othero's was a coincidence. Or maybe she made some of them correspond and some of them not? Am I reading too much into this? Probably, probably. But I don't have anything else to do at the moment but do some heavy-duty speculation. rolleyes.gif

Might be a coincidence! Who knows.

No one knows D: and it's driving me bonkers.

Hrm, my role seems to have little connection with the card I chose. Now seriously reconsidering my decision to vote Arix.

However, we have nothing to work on, so it stays until there is something else for me to work off, or that convinces me that Arix is not a likely scum.

I meant artist. Not being able to edit my posts is killing me. I usually edit things like, three times before I'm finally satisfied. >_>

I want more people to talk so I can figure out who I want to vote for. ninja.gif

Is okay to post with broken english, takes some getting used to but without edit you will need to learn cope.

Oops. I've gotten lost reading Problem Sleuth. CURSE YOU ALL.

I like Homestuck much better than Problem Sleuth, but it's still an entertaining read. smile.gif I'm convinced that everything the Huss touches turns to gold.

...I'm glad, though, that we're not playing Humanimals Mafia.

The more I read on the wiki, the more lost I get.
Unknown2010-11-08 05:42:37
Then stop reading.

Who are we voting for again? I thought some people were thinking of Arix because of the joker bit, but now are not?
Unknown2010-11-08 05:46:38
My role has nothing to do with my card that I can tell, but then I only managed to skim the first few paragraphs of the link right after getting my role before I had to rush off to class.

I have no idea what's going on, heeelp. sad.gif

If you're interested in learning more but the wiki is confusing you, this intermission from the main Homestuck story contains the fight between the Midnight Crew and The Felt that happened in the story. It's riddled with in-jokes intended for those who had read MSPA (mostly Homestuck) up to that point, but it still gives a demonstration of all of the powers, personalities, etc. of The Felt and the Midnight Crew. Doc Scratch does not appear in this, though.

As for who we're voting for, not sure. I think the general consensus is to wait for more of the other people to speak up before making a decision.

ADDED NOTE: Ridiculous time :censor: that results from Felt powers may or may not increase your confusion, but depending on what all Casilu has decided people can do, it might be a good taste of what to expect.

The original assumption was that our card choices had some implications about our roles, but according to what the few of us said, this does not seem to be so.

So now, we're kinda stuck/going in circles.
Unknown2010-11-08 06:29:50
Day 1 is always kind of a mess. People can criticize the choice of Arix, but it's about the same as wildly stabbing at anyone else. My random.org results are pointing me in a different direction, however!

Just don't think about it. Take everything you read at face value. Best thing to do with convoluted time travel shenanigans is to just roll with it and see how the cards fall, so to speak.

So I guess that's what we should do now.

Hi, I'm home and in that hazy fog of being awake but not really. This post is mostly to inform you that I am aware that the game has started and will participate more soon. I really am too tired to slog through all your posts, so I'll do that tomorrow
Diamondais2010-11-08 10:26:59
This started really late my time (some time past 2am almost 3am), and now I must head to class, I'll be back in about two hours but I am here!

Okay. Let's start this off with a Vote:Phoebus

After looking over things, while the attempts to tie choice of card and scumminess together is futile (even ignoring that this is Casilu, Kira did the "pick a card" role placement for the hero game, and the cards had no real relation to scumminess. Death was a good guy for example.) it is at least a common, if very weak, strategy often employed here. It rarely has any indication of being scum.

However! Phoebus has a lot of posts. A lot of posts that do nothing except talk about the comic, or other only very tangentially related issues. The posting strategy is a common attempt for scum to "hide in plain sight". So my vote goes to the one who has said the most, while saying the least.
