That all depends on how well you know your opponent. And how come I never thought of figmenting Tarot rubs?

If the tarotist is gusted out of the room and continues to do nothing, the soulless will not complete.
I don't believe hekoskeri will slap people if they tumble.
Illuminati have a great deal of summon resist (fatten legs/torso/belly) in addition to malkuth. You also run the risk of your gust attempt being eaten by eyesnare, badluck, insanity or stupidity. You can always sip anatine and gust + beast gust yourself out. Forced movement, even if you do it to yourself, won't set off hekoskeri, tentacles, rubble, mucous, carcer or flux and chances are you'll have less summon resist than the Illuminati.

Is there any confirmation message when your hypnotized order goes through?

Don't forget to Eyesnare and enemy. Truename to hide stuff like Tarot flings. Also if you can hypnotize it would have been a good idea to order her entourage to attack her. It seems that she got control of the duel really quickly. If you aren't controlling your opponent as Illuminati, you are going to lose.
How would someone use eyesnare? What about figment?

Eyesnare lasts for two minutes. It effects all enemies. There is a small chance that they will be distracted and suffer from temporary insanity instead of doing what they wanted to do.
Figment is an Illusion that you set up and it ticks the same message three times. I don't know the exact times but there is a decent amount of time in between the illusions

The only confirmation you'll get is an third-person echo the person gives off while performing the order.
