I've been collecting empty present boxes. I'm going to have my own Solstice gift giveaway after the gnomes are gone for good. happy.gif

On that note, I've acquired three empty boxes that friends have cruelly given me.

On a brighter note, congratulations everyone!

I know one of those little short gits is waiting out there for me sometime. If not, Ironbeard will surely visit me. smile.gif

Sigh I won't be able to log in to hunt gnomes tomorrow, instead I will be consuming "alcohol" with my "friends" sad.gif Woe is me.

Happens to the best of us, but let's keep the cheer here and the ranting to our own private conversations on OOC clans.

Is it my imagination, or have the gnome drops really, really slowed down?

Been at least four hours.

I'm pretty sure an admin has to actually enter a command to make it happen, though, so it's possible there are just none around. Probably a lot are traveling for Christmas and stuff.

Gimme gnome drop privs, and I don't mind doing it every few minutes hours suspicious.gif

Amidst the jingling of bells, small portals open up over the Basin of Life, out of which float down
chubby little gnomes in red suits.

Diseased trunks.
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. The forest consists of older
oaks and chestnuts, grey-trunked beasts that stretch their limbs up some fifty feet before forming
the canopy overhead. Long roots cluster together like tentacles above the grasses, clustered knots
of wood that arch upwards before plunging back into the soil. The trees themselves are covered in
knotted masses, fungating tumours that point to their ill-health. Casting darkness all around, a
shadow totem thrusts up from the ground, chilling the air. A rowan sapling clings tenaciously to the
ground here. A chubby little gnome in a red suit stands here, tapping his nose with a finger. The
hulking form of a carrion beetle stands here. A giant wasp hovers here, buzzing menacingly.
You see exits leading northeast, south, southwest, and northwest.

The results?

Explaining your abject poverty, you humbly request a little help from a chubby gnome in a red suit.
A chubby gnome in a red suit sighs dramatically and searches his pockets, looking for something to
give you.
He gives a twinkling white present to you.

I got 400+ gems out of pocketbelts. This is satisfactory.

Sometimes, pocketbelts RULE. I got a new set of vials out of one from all the gems!

I briefly logged on to Lusternia from my iphone, and in that brief moment, Iron Beard visited me! Woo, only vials, but still!

Oh, and improved illusion on a delayed timer makes sad people. :I

Nope, just telnetlite. It was free. I didn't feel like spending money on a silly thing I would barely use. I just use the telnetlite to log on and check messages and read news. Kinda keep tabs on stuff.

Got a bunch of pocketbelts, then a great rune of surging life.

Anyone know how long these gnomes and Ironbeard are going to hang around for?
Unknown2010-12-24 20:52:58
Gnomes until tomorrow night, and Ironbeard until the new year. Or at least, that is my perception of this world.
Unknown2010-12-24 22:00:18
Got a paintbrush, and more pocketbelts. Promptly traded in the paintbrush for a set of pipe runes and lots more skills. So happy, my Christmas is made.

Aaand, just got a pigsnout. I love the gnomes. I also almost died for it. >.>
