Any possibility of tarot receiving some love in the m&m def system? Right now it only has fool and enigma, but there's also princess, starleaper, and world for the defs you can put up. oh and warrior as well.
Vadi2011-05-30 05:18:49
Not a problem if you send me all the relevant lines!

You are an archlich. This no longer shows as lichdom, for some reason, keep forgetting to report that.

Also, since (arch)liches can use adroitness at night, but only then, any chance that can be included in defup and keepup? When cast during the day you will get an error as if you did not have the skill at all.
Vadi2011-05-30 17:00:20
Tinkered with lichdom, and I added adroitness - however it doesn't track night and day yet.

New update up that has these goodies and more.

I'm having a bit of an issue with deathmark curing that I don't seem able to repair on my own.

I got in to a situation in where I was curing deathmark with soap, and it was being applied so rapidly I was essentially keeping myself permanently off balance by continually scrubbing. I couldn't find anything in the documentation, and I couldn't figure out what the affliction was called by m+m to put it on the ignore list. I was wondering if I just missed something that would tolerate a higher level before scrubbing, or a toggle, or anything of the sort.

Or if there's a better way for me to be dealing with this situation.

You can check all of the aff names with mmshow ignorelist. I think, off the top of my head, that those are called "deathmarkone", "deathmarktwo", "deathmarkthree", "deathmarkfour". I ended up simply ignoring them all, dunno if there is a better way.
Calixa2011-06-01 17:39:18
You will probably want to put them lower on the priority queue, or yes ignore the lower levels and cleanse them manually or something.
Vadi2011-06-01 18:05:17
Ignoring them all would do it, yep.

Could we get an instakill-style alert on when choke is used, and who it's used by and on in a room, even if it's not on you? Similarly with P5th?

Lrn2trigger?
Lilia2011-06-02 15:55:07
I'm pretty sure there's functions to add your own warnings for those sorts of things. Go to Scripts>m&m>Examples>Display afflictions on prompt demo and mess around with the functions in there.

Either of these works. I have a trigger for when someone is choked, or if I'm choked(as rare as that is) that echos something once, while also using m&ms custom warning function for when I'm lusted, someone hits my phantomarmour, or a few other things that I really need to know about and it'll prefix every line with the warning for varied times that I've set.

There's really a lot of customizable things within the system, people just need to take the time to look over the documentation. From what I've read, two systems, for the same guild/skill combination could be done vastly different through changing curing priorities and a number of other things.

Just noticed something I found kind of... odd.

When you need to eat sparkleberry it tries to eat and then outr!
Unknown2011-06-02 16:37:45
Eh, was just wondering why it wasn't an inherent feature. Already modified my crap for it anyway. Just figured it might be useful for those people out there who bought the system because they know jack about system stuff, rather than simple laziness on my part.

It just made me raise an eyebrow, because it's the single most common component involved in the deaths of players in half of the organizations in the Basin during most major engagements. I would have expected it to be a standard feature.
Lilia2011-06-02 16:39:06
No, that's pretty normal. It's a pre-cache thing. I don't use that feature, but every now and then it decides that I should be, and keeps one outr'd. It's faster that way.
Vadi2011-06-02 17:11:52
It'll eat/outr when it thinks that you have a herb in your inv of that type. Precache is different, that one will actively get a herb out for you. So most likely is that you put the herb away and m&m didn't catch it - qi syncs it.

In regards to a choke warning, um, it's not really lethal and m&m does cure in choke. I'll stay with what others said - if you'd like to add it, it's really easy, just look at the docs. mm.givewarning is what you're looking for.

Ahah, yeah, I looked at it after and that's what it's doing!
