Hmm, M&M isn't working for me, I keep getting this:

QUOTE
Lua syntax error:]…"]5: module 'lfs' not found: no field package.preload no file './ifs.lua' no file '../Frameworks/lua/share/5.1/ifs.lua' no file '../Frameworks/lua/share/5.1/lfs/init.lua' no file '../Frameworks/lua/lib/5.1/lfs.lua' no file '../Frameworks/lua/lib/5.1/lfs/init.lua' no file './ifs.dylib' no file '../Frameworks/lua/lib/5.1/lfs.dylib' no file '../Frameworks/lua/lib/5.1/loadall.dylib'

Is LUA installed correctly? I believe that if you're not on Windows you may have to install it?

Also, on windows, there is a file lfs.dll that is supposed to be in the character folder. I will assume that is lfs.lua on whatever OS you are on (Linux? Mac?). Check if it is there and that everything is unpacked where it should be.

Hope that helps a bit. ohmy.gif

That's a Mac... did you update to the Mudlet version recommended in the email?

I love the cheerful little greetings I get from m&m when I log in.

They are quite fun.

I hate the cheerful little greeting I get when I die. argh.gif

I love that. It even apologises sometimes.

I like the big ASCII "RIP" thing.

Yes, well. It just furthers my rage from dying.
Vadi2011-08-08 18:48:20
It's an extra insensive not to die!

I don't think it's working... unsure.gif

Incentive, maybe. smile.gif

I remember the first time I lost my head in a fight and it said RIP...pissed me off. Now I think its funny and love when it apologizes.

It truly is an incentive to not die....mostly because if I kick my netbook again while screaming at M&M to go to H*ll pissed.gif , I will have to buy a new one. I really don't want to buy a new one.

Just double-checking something. In the ignorelist, I see aeon and sap specifically, but no choke. Will checkslows cover it?
Vadi2011-08-17 01:33:12
No, you can use mmignore choke for that. Don't ignore checkslows, that's anti-illusion for sap/choke/aeon illusions.

edit: fixed it not being listed, thanks!

I've noticed it deciding that it likes Aeon - likes aeon so much, in fact, that it spams diagnose. Tarot, primarily, though from toher skillsets too - even when the tarot card is unmasked. Any ideas?
Vadi2011-08-21 01:25:36
Drop me a log, if you're saying it's diagnosing on unmasked aeon.
Vadi2011-08-21 09:58:39
Looked at the log, and there was masked tarot + masked stings involved - so it wasn't diagnosing on unmasked aeon.

So- anyone else have an issue with stancing/parrying? It doesn't work at all for me and a few others who are using the newest version... yet it works for other people. I have shown a bunch of people my set up and they have no idea why it wouldn't be working.
