One problem I've recently run into is that even though I've deleted the m&m alias/trigger folders from Mudlet, I've had difficulty re-importing the updated ones because Mudlet thinks I have a package named the same thing already installed. I get around it by renaming the import file, but still get the m&m warning re: multiple alias/trigger folders installed. I'm assuming there's a stray backup file or something I need to delete; any idea what this might be?

Delete the m&m package from your package manager, which can be found on your toolbar towards the right-hand side. That'll take care of all the trigger folders and so forth, too.

Has the influencer been fixed yet?

It still works.

It never worked properly for me. It would always use empower no matter what.

Not sure what happened to me, but I updated m&m like I always have by using the packet manager and uninstalling it and then reimporting the new file.

However, I seem to have lost those defense modes I created as well as the keepup and defup for the modes that come with m&m.

Any clue what issue I could be having?

They're stored separately in ~/.config/mudlet/profiles//svo - maybe there was some issue with filesystem permissions that didn't allow them to be saved? Try doing mmsave to force a save.

I just noticed in mmshow that there's one line for 'Bashing triggers: enabled' What is that referring to? I couldn't find any information in the documentation and don't recall reading about it

Bashing triggers are triggers for affliction line from NPCs. You can also tn bashing or tf bashin if you'd like to have them off in PK... but there's no real need to do that, since Mudlet is so fast it's not even funny. The option is there, though.

I'm never really one to laud someone's work like this, but if you've been on the fence about checking out m&m, I'd like to personally recommend it.

I don't do nearly as much with pVp as some of my Lusternian companions. In fact, if I had to peg myself on the defense --> offense spectrum, it'd be a lot closer to defense overall, and I never really go looking for trouble. I still, however, get a lot of mileage out of m&m because of all of the incredibly useful utilities that Vadi pours into the system for free.

It has handy triggers for bashing, a really sleek DEF layout, interesting changes for things like "scent" and "discern", a wonderfully simple power reserves counter, and so on... these are the things that I tend to look for in a system, and it's always being improved upon.

I can't crow about it enough (no pun intended)! Awesome work, Vadi. :)
