It won't matter for scripting, because Lua is platform independent. However, since this is a closed source system, the system architecture itself will differ. DLLs for example, won't work on Linux or Mac OS, and I assume Vadi has a different structure for those OSes.

Yeah, basically it's just a different installation method. Scripts are the same.

You just need LuaFS. Windows is fine as you have the dll, but for Linux you will need liblua5.1-filesystem and possibly liblua5.1-filesystem-dev.

Okay, so I'll add a toggle to have the list either be a whitelist or a blacklist.

My Spectacles bow to your greatness. (They are still cowering in fear of someone who wants to be a bastard with Empress, though.)

I'm somewhat tempted to purchase this, I've been having troubles with Ethelon's and fiddling with it.
I do alt quite a bit when I'm actively playing, how well does this system handle that?
Also, one thing I've disliked in many systems is the auto eat herbs and so on for defences on login, does this do it? If so, can it be turned off?
More questions to come later.

It'll only do that if you set those things to be kept up, which starts out with nothing on it, so it'll only do it if you tell it to. I'm not sure how it handles for alts though, because I never bought the skills for my poor alt, so I never play her anymore.

Any system that has auto-deffing ought to have a way to toggle them on/off. If it doesn't turn them off when you logout, and you want it to do so, I'm sure you can trigger that easily enough.
As for alts, always make a new profile for every character and keep them separate. Don't mix-and-match things for multiple characters in a single profile unless you want headaches.

Well, as I said, I've been having trouble fiddling with Ethelon's.
Gah, I had another question but I've lost it, will edit this one when I think of it again.

The way defs work in m&m is "modes". One of those modes is called "keepup", which are the defences you put up automatically whenever you don't have them. (ie, right when you login.)

Keepup can also be disabled or enabled for convenience with tf keepup, tn keepup.

PP is the alias to pause the system (even the autodefs on mmkeepup).

Pausing the system and stopping auto-deffing are two different things.
I wasn't questioning the capabilities of m&m, either, if it seems that way. I don't know exactly how it does this or that, and I don't much care. It was a general bit of advice that any system can be tweaked to disable such things.

What's the do queue stored in? I'd like to display the next item and the number of items in a status window so I can keep track when I go crazy queueing commands.

'mmshow do' or 'mm.doshow()'

Ta, but I was looking for the table name. I'd rather not have to keep calling that, extracting the variables and then gagging it if I can help it. Might not be accessible though.

Could do echo(windowname, mm.doshow()) possibly. Or just ask Vadi about it.

I'll add mm.doqueue{}, mm.dofreequeue{} and mm.dorepeat next update for greater flexibility with that.

I've never had it defup on login, I always have to pick a mode for it to defup.
