It's possible to use a variety of abilities when entangled, if you have balance when the entangle hits you at least. For example, headbut in athletics. I am guessing (could be wrong) that psymet has some moves like that too (I know psionics does). A feature to select an ability or abilities to use (perhaps something like "send this command or commands right before you writhe") would enable the use of such abilities in the system.

Alias the writhing? (Don't know if m&m would call the alias, but that's one idea.)
Unknown2011-02-14 18:57:14
Do you mean an in-game alias or some change to something in m&m? Cause if I did that it wouldn't writhe on its own... still, that is one potential workaround with enough effort.
Unknown2011-02-14 18:59:28
I mean just make an alias that matches "writhe(?: \\w+)?" (or whatever works best with m&m) and do your own thing before calling whatever mm.function(). Like I said, I don't know how it works, but that's how I might code it.
Vadi2011-02-14 19:17:21
That wouldn't work (except by over-aliasing in Lusternia on demand), and I doubt that once you get better in combat, will you be wanting to auto-attack when you get webbed.

However, m&m does raise Mudlet events (mmconfig eventaffs on), to which you could trigger that when you get webbed, to do your attack. If you really think that's a good idea...

Have you tried adding it do the do or dofree queue? You can make a function that fires when you have a certain affliction, m&m keeps a table you can reference.

it'd be good for spiritbonding being recognized as defense, as well origamis.

The origami lines should have been added, and spiritbonding isn't exactly the same way as regular defenses. Only listed under spirits and not defenses I believe. If you mean in terms of deffing up, idk.

I think you're right...

but it'd be good to have oils as defences as well! heh...

Oils do show too.

If you previously bought the system and have an alt of a different class, is that classes' version of the system the full price or the class change price?

Yep... also, new updates! Added keeneye, custom prompt tags, and etc.

Is there an easy way to switch a system from highmagic to lowmagic?
Unknown2011-03-01 08:58:43
How does a bro get rid of that green window on the bottom right?
Vadi2011-03-01 11:48:22
Scripts, m&m, Examples, delete 'affs display window'. To switch, fill the form again (if you've skillflexed both, let me know so then)
Dysolis2011-03-04 23:20:35
Ok noob question.

How do you install the updates once you get the beta46? I did what it said and deleted all aliases, triggers and the scripts. It still says that the version is beta46 so I'm not sure if it's updated and didn't change what the version said. I also lost all my aliases it didn't give them back to me.I've got up to 11.24.

You only have to delete the m&m folders, not all of your settings entirely. You don't even HAVE to, really, just that you'll end up with doubles of everything and you'll have to sort out the newer one from the older.
