Started the first day of open beta. I remember being all prepared for it, too; I made a list of goals and created characters to fulfill each goal. Things like leader, warrior, merchant, etc. Vesar was my first and was supposed to be the Leader. I guess I did that, got bored, and decided to make have him accomplish all the goals..

But man, Lusternia was fun in open beta...

I made a character very early on, I'm not sure if it was open beta, or after the official release though. I didn't last long, as I was still playing Achaea at that time. A year or so later, when I realized I wasn't having any fun in Achaea, I came back and made Lilia, and haven't played Achaea since.

Vesar is back! But playing another character?

Is there a reason Auseklis never returned from His meditations? I'm sure that there are Admins-to-be in the mix somewhere, but I wonder if the role of Auseklis is closed forever. I vaguely mention Estarra saying something about that, though I'm sure I'm venturing into forbidden territory now, so I shall go back to my regularly scheduled pr... Oh look, a bunny!!

His beard struck out for greener pastures, and he's powerless without it. I'm expecting a spinoff game where the beard fights crime to debut in 2012.

I am actually very curious as to what happens now in XI/hG with two new cities.

I don't believe it's possible to do the XI with the new cities, as their logic crystals have remained in balance and don't respond to the same things as the others. I could be wrong, though.

I think it would be hard enough to try and play an existing god that you had encountered, but Auseklis is... primordial and I think has been gone longer than I've been playing so I would try to avoid playing him if given the choice. Also if he maintained some of his earlier stances that I've seen in news posts, his return could actually create issues for Serenwilde that would not be fun.

If Lyreth never existed I would so get all up in some Auseklis...
