Yeah, the thing about powers makes me think we can't be sure there's only one of any given thing, even if there's variations and things. That would mean such a tactic would be basically useless.

It is rare to have a second of a very powerful and specific role(doctor or investigator), so that is the normal fake claim. All this is moot, anyway as you only do that before a lynch.

At night, I can incapacitate someone, swap outfits (:|) and leave them tied up in my place at night. In practical terms it works like a roleblock; but at the same time, any actions done to my target will be done to me instead, and vice-versa. Though, in this case, I imagine that tracker or watcher roles take precedent over my own actions! I win with two conditions: if I manage to survive to the endgame or when the town manages to eliminate the scum faction.

I did target Romierten with it last night and managed to pull the switch off successfully. I can't really say why I targeted Romierten any more than Vendetta can say why they decided to watch me. It's Night 1 and I got lucky. Well, at the expense of someone else.

Two win conditions? I find that a little difficult to swallow. Especially since you pretty much just repeated the same thing. Or does 'Town eliminates Scum' NOT count as endgame?

Oh, and Bowie is widely considered as a 70's artist. Not 60's. Chalk that up against Furien's claim too.

I don't like day ending so quickly, but sure. I'll believe Vendetta for now. Especially since we already had a roleblocker, so it seems strange that Furien would be semi-town roleblocker+busdriver.

Other than the minor flavor issue that I would agree that Bowie is more iconically 70s than 60s, I suppose we could just have a very confused mod, or one with a different opinion. It is Jack after all...

But I believe Vendetta more than I believe Furien. I see no reason for him to lie. I suppose he might have a murder-suicide power like what Ssalis had, so maybe he's hoping to get two more townies if he's scum, but it seems sort of unlikely to have shared powers.

I'd like to hear from some other people before we drop the hammer, but I really don't see it going anywhere but Furien at this point, without some good information.

My own problem with Furien's claim is that it doesn't account for whoever the other people I saw last night were, and muddles up the what-outfit-I-was-snooping-on-when case. In the most likely scenario, it would mean imply a survivor with a mason relationship(s), which means we're still not getting the full story, and is also a role set-up I have never seen anywhere before.
