Three hours to go before the deadline, and so far, I don't have anyone to vote for. Rika still strikes me as slightly odd with her vote for Kira (who I personally think is a near-definite town, at least as definite as you can be without seeing the role), but not odd enough to vote for. Llandros hasn't contributed anything at all this day, sure, but this is his first game; I'm willing to overlook it for today (although the same won't go for tomorrow). Bah.

Then again, considering we only have four people voting right now (at least if my count is correct), it appears I'm not the only one with this problem sad.gif

I'm not a fan of trigger happy vigs but he said it was a one off. I don't have anyone that I'd like to see especially taken out.
Diamondais2011-01-27 23:48:26
I feel much the same, the person I'm most suspicious of is likely currently town, who knows what the future holds in this game though.

Rika, Phoebus, Casilu and Llandros I just don't know.

Shulamit is going to catch more attention if she keeps up with the innocent bit, but not anything to say at the moment she's scum.
Llandros2011-01-28 00:08:40
So, um, about 2 hours to the deadline. Be mindful that if anyone puts a second on one of the people with only one votes that they would get lynched come deadline. So if you do please have a good reason that you actually explain. Let's not start up with nynja lynches this early in the game.

Kiradawea hasn't told us she's a mason though. She just told us that Hideyoshi and George are both in the game and are both town. The list of characters isn't huge and neither Hideyoshi and George strike me as characters who would be part of the witch faction. Basically, I could have told you the exact same thing without knowing anything about the roles in this game.

Actually, the general rule is that if two (or more) people have the same amount of votes come deadline, no one gets lynched. It isn't written in the rules this time around though, but unless Furien says otherwise, that's what I'm assuming will happen. So at this moment, Rika is the one closest to lynching with two votes; you and Kira only have one vote each.

Yeah, I came to that realisation while I read your previous post. I still consider Kira to be town myself though, but I won't point any fingers towards anyone thinking otherwise. Perhaps a silly thing to do that might bite me in the ass later, but... yeah.
Rika2011-01-28 01:10:45
Alright, running out of time before deadline. Going to claim.

I'm Kyrie. At night, I can pick two people to have all night actions done to them done to the other person instead (works both ways). Once in the game, during day, I can flip the chessboard to see how many witches are left in the game. I used this earlier, but Furien doesn't seem to have logged in. Can't use my night ability immediately after the day I use the day ability.
Ssaliss2011-01-28 01:25:44
Hmm. Reading through the posts again, something struck me as odd...

Also, I know noooooooothing about this theme and this is the fastest moving first day I've ever seen. I pointed out the suspisious activity I noticed and most else has been over my head. Lot's of outside reading is in my future it seems.

Not really what I expected from someone who had never played the game before. The only reason I thought you hadn't was that I hadn't seen you in a game before and you displayed many of the "noob-signs" (few posts, non-informative), but those posts makes me think otherwise. Is this your first game or not?
Rika2011-01-28 01:28:27
So, can we get votes on other people so I don't get lynched due to deadline?
Ssaliss2011-01-28 01:31:05
You can switch from Kira to Llandros to even it out yourself. Both are at one vote. If Gleip and/or Ileein switches from you as well, all the better. If no one does anything, I'm considering putting a vote for Llandros, since it seems very likely he isn't a first-time player, and thus don't need special treatment.
Rika2011-01-28 01:32:24
Yeah alright, I'll go with that.

##Unvote
##Vote: Llandros
Ssaliss2011-01-28 01:33:27
I just hope I counted the votes correctly so I don't mis-guide you... Could someone else confirm the votes? Should be two for both Llandros and Rika at this point.
Furien2011-01-28 01:45:14
The grandfather clock in the parlour strikes several, low notes that resonate through the entire mansion.
There are 30 minutes until the deadline. It may be expanded by a minimum vote of 1/3rd the town (or thereabouts). If this does not occur, whoever has the most votes will be lynched.

(Getting a vote count up as fast as I can, I wasn't supposed to sleep this late!)
Ssaliss2011-01-28 01:47:11
Hmm. Not to counter-argue the Great Mod, but your rules said day 2 and forward...

5. From Day 2 and on, a majority vote may extend a given deadline, so long as the game has a healthy activity.

And yes, I'm a stickler for rules. Feel free to change it though! And can we get confirmation for what would happen if two (or more) have the same amount of votes?
Rika2011-01-28 01:51:02
Vote: Deadline extension.

Furien2011-01-28 01:53:27
Rika (2): Gleip, Ileein
Llandros (2): Shiri, Rika

With 16 people alive, it will take 9 votes to lynch someone.
The Witch of Rokkenjima's Night is looking forward to the coming twilight!

(I'm not sure, at this point, if I should toss in an 18-hour deadline extension solely by mod rule, RNG the lynch or just kill neither or both. How awkward.)
Ssaliss2011-01-28 01:58:06
Hmm. In order to lighten the load off of Furien, I'm going to

## Vote: Llandros
Rika2011-01-28 02:02:18
There are four scum left. That likely means Tekora was not scum. Kiradawea is looking even more suspicious now.

As the first night in the typhoon reaches its peak, one of the guests visits the parlour, only to find a chessboard set up on the table next to Bernkastel's corpse. The pieces arranged on it are set in an enigmatic pattern; several pawns and knights methodically cornering a number of queens and bishops in an intricate game. It almost looks as if someone had flipped the chessboard, so as to play against themselves perhaps to make a deduction.
