I'm not familiar with mafia strategies, but I'd rather be blunt and lay the voting right away instead of being subtle and playing cool at the risk of it backfiring on me.

Going through the first 5 pages you can see Ileein playing very well, so I'm not going to try and make something up to draw suspicion to him that way.

So... for the blind among us, what did happen during the night that points to Ileein?

Before voting though, I'd rather give him a chance to defend himself and see what he has to say.

Yeah, that was written while I formulated my post (or rather, I pressed "reply" and had to run off). Two people with the same powers? Hrm. Odd, to say the least. Now I'm even more eager to hear from Ileein.

You can take it both ways - at least you know this specific type of power exists in the game now. And what are the chances I'd use the same wording as Furien who posted -after- me?

Two allignment checkers does seem to be quite a stretch.

Shou, I think the problem is anyone could shout out a name and then give no back-up as to why that person should be lynched. People were getting onto Kira for that earlier too, just for saying Casilu was likely Town. When you go around calling Scum, you need to give hard evidence as to why. You say you have an alignment-determining skill, but that's just as easy to make up on the spot, and kind of suspicious given Jessica's powers.

At the same time, we've had a handful of town deaths and no definite scum deaths. And frankly, I'm kind of curious about what would happen if we all -did- lynch Ileein.

What the hell.

If we kill Ileein and Ileein is town, then it makes Shou look suspicious and we can lynch Shou. If we kill Ileein and Ileein is scum, then Shou looks a-okay. If we kill Shou, though, and Shou is an investigative townie (like he's implying) we then have two less investigators. And I highly doubt there's anymore total. Ergo, I'd rather take my chances on Ileein than Shou.

Wouldn't hurt to prod Ileein into explaining himself, either.

Well, if it comes down to it, I'd rather lynch Ileein than Shou today, based on a very simple fact: If Shou really has the same power as Shiri, then he discovered someone with a bad alignment, and the sooner we lynch those, the better. If Ileein turns out to be town, Shou's next on the list.

Granted, Shou could be a Jester trying to get himself lynched, and this is just part one of his plan. If we have another day (or night) killer out there, and Ileein turns out town, then I'd suggest they target Shou (as far as I understood it, Jesters only win if they're lynched?).

This is my flip the chessboard day power. I used it earlier and found out there were four scum left. For a game this size, 5 scum is unlikely, so I'm going to go with Tekora being town. Speaking of which,

Gleip was defending Kiradawea aggressively. Ileein jumped on the bandwagon on me that they started but otherwise didn't really contribute much himself.
