Given what they've both said now, and what I know about my own character, I can believe both of them to be telling the truth.
##Vote: Kiradawea
Going back to this due to my reasoning from yesterday.

I feel the same way. About Shou, Ileein, and Kiradawea. But I'm not sure what to do about voting yet- I was going to put a vote on Kira to make her talk, but then I remembered, she isn't even here, is she? So I will just sit here. Pondering what I should do.

Yeah. I'm willing to chalk that up to a quirk with the investigation power and Ileein's rather... unique role. Not totally convinced by either of them, but it at least makes some sense.
My main thoughts from yesterday, after all this cleared, is actually Shulamit. Him going "I'm not evil, I swear" kinda... I dunno, tickled me the wrong way. Not enough to vote yet, but anyone else have anything to say about it?

Ileein speaks the truth...theres this mariage sorce...ok, I can't speak, and I'm in the middle of an rpg.
So, yes. Meriage Sorciere wins with town. I'm also hoping to remake this little covey. Cause right now, I can't do anything else to help. I tried to look at Shiri, and he sure wasn't one. And he gave me nightmares, so, I'm rather looking that he's not so good. That might just be from looking at his soul.
Back to my rpg!

Even if I'm not lynched, there's like a two out of three chance I'll die anyway, due to a number of factors, not least my anti-roleclaim limitation. I do hope I read it right and it just prevents giving my name.

You probably wouldn't look so good inside either if you were about to be dead. And he was town. Did you completely overlook the fact that he's the one who died last night?
Shulamit2011-01-30 04:34:51
Yeah, giving I can't read at high speed, and play. Well then, meer. I'm guessing seeing his soul and then him being murdered was rather disturbing, yes.
Ssaliss2011-01-30 04:40:21
Could someone either point to a link explaining Meriage Sorciere, or explain it here? Since it's apparently turning into a big thing, at least I want some more information about it.
Unknown2011-01-30 04:42:07
I can't wrap my head around why I'd discover Ileein as one of the culprits if he wins with the town. I don't think it has anything to do with his role. And now Shulamit is acting strange too
Shulamit2011-01-30 04:42:23
What I know is me and I think two others (maybe just one other) make up the Meriage Sorciere. We win when the witch faction is dead. I also might be able to do more helpful things once the alliance reforms, though it's sort of vague.
Casilu2011-01-30 04:44:10
Did Shulamit JUST claim she targeted the person who died last night?

Yes, and she also managed to completely not notice that he'd died.

If you looked up my role, Kyrie is actually the person behind the murders in one of the endings of the game.
Shulamit2011-01-30 04:46:23
I looked at his soul. I have no other ability. But, you know, I'm rather certain that I'm going to die anyway, because, whatever. I'll live forever even in my death! I hope

Didn't Kira mention something about investigating Shiri just before all this, too?
Casilu2011-01-30 04:48:56
SHE WEIGHS AS MUCH AS A DUCK AND IS THEREFORE MADE OF WOOD: GET HER!
Unknown2011-01-30 04:56:19
Wait wait wait.
So if everything so far is true. I can investigate all these people and they will all be culprits, but not really because they are just 'latent witches' or part of a secret society or something like that?
Meh, that is just too confusing then. My ability specifically states that I can hyper-scrutinize a person's PAST actions and then determine whether they are a culprit or not. I wasn't reading so close into the lines until all this new info was brought in.
It's possible Ileein knows about the Sorciere and whatnot but he's not actually aligned with them. I also have an iffy feeling about the two of them (Shulamit included) playing the 'I will die soon anyway' card already.
If Ileein is lynched and he's a culprit then good. If he's lynched and he's not a culprit then my power is bonked.

After looking at various Wiki-pages, I found this (which seemed to be the most descriptive):
Maria is the witch form of Maria Ushiromiya, having become Beatrice's apprentice after giving a soul to Sakutaro. By succeeding in doing this feat, she is a potential Creator: a witch with an even higher rank than Bernkastel and Lambdadelta. Known by the title of "Witch of Origins", she is able to create something from nothing. It is revealed in Alliance of the Golden Witch that she is affiliated with the Mariage Sorcière, an alliance of witches she and Beatrice are exclusive members of. She is also the witch teacher of Ange, despite the fact that they did not see each other as she was banished from Mariage Sorcière.
Beatrice is the Golden and Endless Witch, and the primary antagonist of the series for the first four games. She first appears in the "Tea Party" of Legend of the Golden Witch, where she confronts Battler over his refusal to accept that his friends and family were killed by magic, and challenges him to a game in which he must prove otherwise. A witch who has lived for over a thousand years, she has the power to summon higher demons among the 72 pillars to serve her.
At first glance, her personality is extremely twisted in that she does not necessarily make the best move for herself if it means confusing or maddening her opponents. Despite this, she is nothing more than an immature child at heart who only wants to play with toys she does not have to worry about breaking. Regardless, this facade regarding her reasons for the game is mostly shattered she is killed due to giving up on everything and letting go. Battler tries resurrecting her in Dawn of the Golden Witch, realizing that she was actually trying to aid him the whole time, but is only able to conjure up a new Beatrice, since the old one has died. This Beatrice has none of the memories of the previous Beatrice, but may become like her if given a thousand years.
Granted, I cropped pretty heavilly from those descriptions, but I can say that I don't exactly trust Beatrice that much from reading that description. Then again, that's all I've read of her so far, so there might be other sides to it as well. So for now, a huge honking FOS on Shulamit from me.

I'm not evil! And I'm not saying I'm going to die from mod (I don't think I will, it was never mentioned) more along the lines of, you all think that I'm a witch. Hence why I keep saying I'm not evil, because everyone thinks witches are evil. Sorry if it suspicious, but, I really can't say anything well right now, now can I
Ileein2011-01-30 05:02:40
If I don't die tonight I will be able to confirm whether or not Shulamit is a member of the Mariage Sorciere and therefore whether she wins with the town, unless she's a member but somehow a part of the Witch faction anyway. Which I don't think is the case.
