I'm fairly certain that we've already caught Ssaliss in a lie here, so it'd probably be a waste to use it on him. We could use it to see if Sylandra really was telling the truth when she said she's aligned with town and that the Mariage is pro-town (though I'm inclined to believe it already.) Or, we can wait and see what else comes up before picking what to use it on. Those are just my thoughts at the moment.

So, now that we've unvoted. How about that information from everyone else? I don't really know if anything is going to be changing my mind here to be honest.

Though it would be nice to hear from AtS regarding my suspicion of him. I'm pretty convinced we've backed Ssaliss into a corner here.

Wow. Screw having classes during intense mafia days (And then I got dragged into two games of League of Legends right when I got back... I'm addicted sorry.). Umm, ok, I guess I'll do the claim thing since almost everyone has.

I am Genji Ronoue. Created in part by the demon Ronove, once during the game, if attacked at night, I will block the attack and launch an counter offensive. This will result in my attacker dying.

@Phoebus - I'd agree with you that voting near a deadline to sway the outcome is scummy. However it doesn't apply to that case for several reasons.

1. Purposely tying the vote (If it would've ended like that) would have resulted in a no lynch. Both Kira and Silf were revealed as town. I can think of no reason why scum would want to prevent a townie from being lynched.

2. I had been saving my vote because towards the end there was some discussion going on, and I wanted to give both of them a chance to say everything they wanted to say. Again, my vote did put either of them into a lynch. I then had to go to class, so I had to put my vote in prior to that or not vote at all.

3. I justified my vote with logical reasoning which I had mentioned previously. Keep in mind that arguably the two strongest mafia players (Kira and Casi) both voted for Silf as well and they're both confirmed town now. I felt that possibly sacrificing one of that group to confirm that they're town was worth the cost vs the risk of leaving a possible scum group right out in the open. That coupled with Kira and Casi were thinking the same thing made me think I was making a reasonable decision. Now I know that it's 99% likely it's an entirely townie group, and I can rest a bit easier. I've said this all before - way before my vote - and during my vote - and I don't know how else I can explain my actions. So yeah, that's about it.

In regards to Ssaliss, he was caught in a pretty obvious lie, so it's all but confirmed he's scum/not town. I'm going to wait for Gleip to truth before voting just in case.

Actually, in regards to the truth/lie thing, I have a better idea. I am of the mind that using it on Sylandra or Ssaliss would be a waste. We already caught Ssaliss lying the old fashioned way. With there still being four scum remaining, and a dead Mariage confirmed as town, I sincerely doubt that the Mariage is a scum group, because that would have meant a huge imbalance of anti-Town vs. pro-Town from the start. So, it would probably be just as much of a waste to use it on Sylandra at this point in time.

So my suggestion is this.

First, Gleip, I'd like clarification: is it an entire post that you can check, or just one statement within a post? If you don't know, ask for that to be cleared up before you do anything. Also, everyone (even the two I personally think we shouldn't investigate) should make a post stating the following:


That way, we can easily check a person's alignment if significant suspicion is cast upon them. If you can only check one statement in a post, check the one that I bolded. Sound good?

And to make sure it's clear that I am also saying it:

Wouldn't it be better to adjust that last line? A lone person with a special win-condition might not count as a group, thus satisfying the condition of town being the only group they win with.

*Actually, I was unaware the Mariage Sorciere existed until Ileein and Silferras brought it up. Upon looking up the Mariage Sorciere and hearing comments made in the thread, I put two and two together and got four (I also haven't seen anyone come forward to correct me and say that I'm not the third member). I really don't see how my alignment would change due to that; seems like it'd make my role pretty damn hard to pull off if so.
